The Gloucester Lane Residence is a beautifully presented two-bedroom mews house with its own private entrance and situated on a traditional cobbled street. This apartment sleeps up to 5 guests and is located in a highly desirable, city centre location in the New Town. The fantastic neighbourhood enjoys all the perks of city living, and you’ll be spoilt for choice with a great selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants all just a short stroll from your doorstep in the Stockbridge area.
With plentiful light and tastefully furnished throughout, the spacious, bright open plan living/dining area and kitchen is the perfect space to sit back and relax and features a living flame gas fire. Your entertainment needs are taken care of with Smart TV and WiFi internet access. Moving through to the contemporary, gleaming white kitchen, you’ll find all the mod cons the discerning traveller needs to cook up a treat to enjoy at the dining table. The integrated appliances include a gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
When it’s time to retire to the bedroom, choose from two elegant and relaxing double rooms both overlooking the quiet rear of the property, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. The master bedroom benefits from the additional comfort of a king size bed. An additional guest can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living room. A slick shower room completes this attractive property.

This property doesn't come with free parking but there is limited paid street parking in local area for an additional fee.

This property operates a key safe, so you can let yourself in to the property any time after 4pm. The key safe code will be issued before your arrival.
If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please note, if you require the sofa bed to be made up and have not booked for the maximum number of guest, there will be an additional charge.

This was an awesome location to everything down town. Only downside was the parking but we used the JustPark app and that made it really easy to find a spot close. Would stay again if I came to Edinburgh. Great vacation hated to leave.
Apartment is small, but updated & clean. Location is convenient for getting to & from central Edinburgh with grocery & restaurants close by.

Very Clean. Location was close to eating and some shopping. We only stayed for 2 days, so hard to comment on any other factors. Will go back again and stay longer.

Decent apartment although a bit pricey.
The kitchen was very well equipped - a couple of teabags and small bottle of milk would be a helpful addition.
The shower had no soap or shower gel - a small bar of soap would be helpful.
The shower drain may be getting blocked as drainage was quite slow.

Needs some TLC
The property needs some maintenance as it has been well used. The walls need to be cleaned or repainted, the shower in the bathroom has black mold around the base caulking. Some of the dishes are chipped and could use some more drinking glasses. Not the most stocked place I’ve stayed in for kitchen amenities but has the basics. The beds were ok and clean, the bedrooms are quite small, limited room for luggage. Good location for seeing Edinburgh and the price was reasonable. Overall if it was spruced up a bit, it would be a nice place to stay.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt nur ok. Die Lage ist wirklich super allerdings waren einige Dinge leider garnichts sauber. Dreckige Handtücher, der Backofen war sehr dreckig und nicht nur das letzte mal wohl nicht geputzt worden. Der Schwamm in der Küche war so alt der ist schon fast auseinander gefallen. Die Betten waren sauber.
