About this property

This holiday home has an enviable vista across the Lamorna Valley.

True to its name, Valley View has an enviable vista across the Lamorna Valley and is just a short walk from the charming Lamorna Cove, a lovely place to bathe on the coastal path between Mousehole and Porthcurno with a gorgeous sweeping coast filled with lush greenery and rubble. This beautiful area draws in artists who take inspiration from the special light here and stunning scenery. A few hundred meters away is the Lamorna Wink pub serving good food in a lovely setting.

The delightful family bathroom has a romantic claw foot bath and a separate additional wet room is perfect after a day on the beach to wash of those sandy toes and those sandy clothes.

Lovely cosy location
We had an enjoyable stay in a lovely location. The property itself was very clean and cosy, the bed in the main bedroom the wooden framework needs some attention. The wet room shower needs redecorating especially the ceiling. and shower drainage very slow. It's a lovely quiet location walking distance to the lovely harbour. We recommend the Lamorna Wink pub just seconds walk away. Great location to explore the surrounding areas.

A wonderful stay in Lamorna
Fabulous location, felt like living in a tree house in the jungle! A little off track, which we liked, with easy access to wonderful locations and Penzance for provisions. Don't be put off by Lamorna reviews, its a magical valley, and you can walk to the cove from the roomy (for 1 car) parking so no car park issues! The house has everything you need, bit of a squeeze on the sofas for 5, but an extra (small) armchair from the hall helped, and everything else more than made up for it. The view is incredible.

A peaceful and well equipped retreat
We had a lovely time, very peaceful and a short trip down to the cove. Well equipped cottage. Could have done with a washing line or another air dryer ( for 6 people who are going swimming etc over 2 weeks one little dryer is not quite enough!). Also oven wasn't cleaned, but in general a really lovely holiday in a lovely cottage which we would definitely return to.

Need to take as much care outside as they have inside
The inside of this property is nicely done and comfortable, however the outside is overgrown and unloved with the smell of the septic tank from the aging deck.

Lamorna Valley View 03/07/21-10/07/21
Valley View is set in the attractive Lamorna valley leading down to the cove. It has good views across the treetops of the valley. It is well equipped and fairly comfortable for four adults. We encountered two problems, firstly the spec of the property included a barbeque. This turned out to be a small disposable BBQ stored in a cupboard. I did find a broken and unusable BBQ in the garden shed. Secondly, we found that each time we used the top oven at the same time as the main oven, it tripped the junction box and the whole house lost power. The wet room was good but required a window that opened as r the room could never fully dry out. Valley View is not an unpleasant place to stay, if you are searching for peace and quiet.
