A perfect stay

The house, the location, the warm welcome. A truly wonderful experience staying in this spacious home, that felt like home. The view, the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Again, the view…. absolutely spectacular. The morning breakfasts at the pool. We spend a lot of wonderful moments during our one week stay. Fantastic central spot to plan your day trips from. If you love oysters go to that spectacular view, where you will find the freshest oysters. Thank you Jean Jacques for all your care. Definitely come back

Sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtetes Haus, dem man anmerkt, dass es auch von den Besitzern selbst genutzt wird. Das Haus stammt aus den 80ern und ein Bad und die Küche sind noch nicht renoviert, aber sehr gut ausgestattet. Spaß macht besonders der hochwertige Gasgrill auf der teilweise überdachten Terrasse. Hier kann man auch bei schlechtem Wetter draußen sein. Es gibt drinnen und draußen viele gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten und an den meisten Orten kann man den wirklich großartigen weiten Blick auf den Etang und das Meer genießen. Selbst im gut gepflegten Pool sieht man das Meer. Die Besitzer sind äußerst freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Propriété bien placée

Très belle maison située en hauteur faisant découvrir un beau panorama sur la mer. La piscine permet de se rafraîchir sans aller à la plage. Maison très pratique dans un quartier silencieux mais le bruit de l'autoroute peut de temps en temps perturber cette tranquillité.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce logement. Très bon accueil dans un esprit convivial. Maison répondant aux critères. Vue plus qu'exceptionnelle sur les lacs et la mer. Fitou est un très beau village paisible avec possibilité de faire de la randonnée et sports via la plaine du village. Leucate Plage et village à proximité. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter

We had a brilliant week in Fitou

What a week! Everything was perfect: the large house, the tastefully designed bedrooms, the well equipped kitchen, the two large bathrooms (there was a third one, perfect for children, that we didn’t use), the wonderful terrace, the blue pool. And above all: a breathtaking view from the top of a hill over the etang (the mighty lake) to the the sea. Sometimes we didn’t even want to go to the great beaches in Leucate or La Franqui that are easy to reach - we just wanted to stay on the terrace and enjoy the view. Everything was even better than on the pictures. Our host, Madame Sterenn Cauboue, was super nice, the contact was easy and warm hearted. We definitely would love to come back soon. Stefan

Quelle vue!!

Tout est reuni pour se reposer, quel bonheur le matin de prendre son petit dejeuner face a l'etang et la mer, de se mettre a l'ombre du palmier pour lire. La maison est bien concue pour permettre a chacun de dormir a son rythme (surtout avec des ados!) Et la climatisation dans les chambres est un plus pour bien se reposer..et l'echange avec les proprietaires est fort sympathique!!

Superbe séjour

La villa est idéalement située sur les hauteurs de Fitou avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac de Leucate et la mer au loin. Elle est spacieuse, bien équipée et bien entretenue (intérieur comme extérieur). La climatisation dans les chambres est très appréciable. Le plus gros atout est indéniablement la piscine idéalement située sur la terrasse surplombant les alentours. Séjour très agréable avec une localisation idéale pour sillonner la région. Par ailleurs, le quartier est très calme. Les seuls bémols sont la proximité de l'autoroute qui peut être légèrement bruyante (selon le sens du vent) et la rareté de commerces de proximité aux alentours. Nous recommandons cette villa pour vos prochains séjours sans hésitation.

Tolles Haus mit herrlichem Blick

Super-netter Empfang durch die sehr sympathischen Vermieter und genaue Einweisung in die Details von Haus, Grundstück und Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, im Einklang mit der Begeisterung der Vermieter für Vietnam und andere Asiatische Länder. Von der Terrasse mit schönem Pool (in dem man auch dank der Gegenstromanlage gut schwimmen kann) oder vom Garten hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Étang de Leucate und das dahinterliegende Port Leucate. Schade ist, dass die an der Küste verlaufende Autobahn recht deutlich zu hören ist, sofern der Wind nicht kräftig von Westen bläst. Optisch ist sie dagegen weit genug entfernt und stört kaum. Um ans Wasser, nach Leucate (Einkäufe, Strand) oder in die weitere Umgebung zu gelangen ist ein Auto praktisch unerlässlich, dann ist aber alles gut zu erreichen, einschließlich des wunderschönen Hinterlands, das zu diversen Wanderungen einlädt. Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub verbringen können, und bedanken uns auch auf diesem Wege nochmal herzlich!

Une villa très agréable!

Vue imprenable sur le lac marin et la mer! Propreté impeccable, et accueil fort sympathique. (une bouteille de vin local offerte!). Endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour!
