Greta is great to work with. Property is very clean. We only used the front half of the house. It had plenty of room for the two or us and our puppy dog. Close to a lot of good hiking trails. It rained every day while we were there but we still had a great time. Would love to come back tooth's area.
Fantastic property. Lovely community. We stayed with pets so we had lots of places to walk them. Everyone we met was friendly. Property manager (Greta) was incredible! The cottage was sparkling clean. Bedrooms were separated so everyone had privacy. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. All appliances were in great shape and worked properly. Conveniently located to the Blue Ridge Parkway for great hiking and incredible leaf peeking. Unfortunately we left our pets' bag behind but Greta was to the rescue by getting it to a friend who lives in the community. This property manager goes above and beyond for the clients. We're already planning our next stay!
As far as vacation rentals go, this one is close to perfect. Greta texted us upfront about the inclement weather in the area, personally welcomed us and showed us the property. For a 'cottage' it is very spacious and also very well equipped. Especially with the rainy weather initially, we felt so much more comfy compared to how it would have been in a hotel or motel. As I said in the title, we will definitely check out if the cottage is available next time we are going hiking in the vicinity .
Even with the rainy weather we enjoyed staying here. Nice neighborhood, we walked a lot. The community pool was nice with only a few people. Great location for quick trips to Linville falls, Newland, Grandfather Mountain. Wish we had more time.
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here. The place was fairly small, but with 2 bedrooms and 2 separate living rooms w/TVs and an excellent internet connection (somewhat rare for this area) it was more than adequate. The place was very clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Linville Land Harbour is a great place from which to explore the High Country. Centrally located, easy access to the main roads and tons of things to do just within the 750 acres of the complex. (18 hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis & Pickle Ball courts, hiking trails, etc.)
We met several neighbors while walking around the place and they were so friendly...a really refreshing change from where we live!
We hope to get back to this area soon and this rental will probably be our location of choice.
We enjoyed our stay at this little cottage in Linville Land Harbor. The location is great for exploring the area, with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, a couple of little towns with restaurants, etc, and fishing on site. The cottage itself is quirky and a bit dated, but with new TVs which were good for our little ones when they were relaxing after adventures. My one complaint is that there was a focus on in person interaction with the property manager at check in, which we avoided, but was a bit off-putting amid a pandemic.
Our family of four spent a month enjoying this house. The neighborhood is fantastic with lots of great activities for kids. There are also a good number of hiking spots within 15-20 minutes drive. Greta checked in on us to make sure our stay was perfect, and we had no complaints about the property. It is well-cared for with lots of areas to relax! Highly recommend!
This was the cleaniest rental we have ever stayed in. Greta was very helpful and quick answering any questions. The location was quiet and private. Many ammenties for use. We especially enjoyed the hiking trails and relaxing on the porch swing.
This charming house has it all. Centrally located to everything. Wi-Fi great, TVs were big and cable perfect. Kitchen equipped with everything. Bathrooms nice. I would stay here again! Greta was exceptionally helpful!!!
We enjoyed our stay here, although we were mainly using it to sleep and didn’t spend a lot of time in the house! The houses in the neighborhood were a bit too close together for our tastes, but it was very quiet, so if you don’t mind close proximity, don’t let it deter you! Very convenient to 105 and Grandfather Mtn.

Cute Cottage
The cottage was cute and grandmotherly, complete with silk flowers. The kitchen had everything we needed and Greta was very helpful. I would recommend that if you want use the fire pit, you should bring your own wood. The wood provided was old and punky and did burn well. The cottage is in a good location for the parkway, Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls.
