Large Luxury Sunny Apartment in heart of Bormes Les Mimosas with Stunning Views

If you are looking for a holiday in Provence by the sea, this large bright luxurious 3-bedroomed property is an ideal base from which to relax or explore and is in the beautiful medieval village of Bormes Les Mimosas. With stunning wide views down to the sea from the balcony and living areas it is quiet and yet very close to amenities. The apartment is 120m2 and comfortably sleeps 6 and has WiFi.

From the quiet street entrance there is a single flight of stairs to the first floor where the apartment is located.

It is ideally located for easy day trips and for the lovely beaches, vineyards and walking distance to good restaurants and the weekly market. There is a boulangerie at the end of the road for morning croissants (1 minute walk).

The apartment is decorated in a contemporary style, with a tiled floor throughout and is very comfortable. It contains many extras that you would expect at home and is great for a family, a couple or a group of friends. Three bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms with king size beds and 1 twin bedroom with large single beds. 1 bathroom with a bath and shower and twin sinks and 1 shower room. There is a separate WC.

The apartment has a beautiful large sunny open plan living/dining/kitchen room which opens out (5 sets of French windows) onto a balcony running the entire length of the apartment from where to enjoy the lovely views down to the sea and the Iles D'or beyond.

Fully equipt for a very comfortable holiday with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, 4-ring hob and oven, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave oven, Bosch washing machine and Bosch tumble drier, a smart TV, DVD player (plus a library of DVDs) CD player and plenty of books and games for the family. Bose speaker. There are cooling room fans for the summer months. Heating is available in the winter months (at an additional surcharge).

We had a delightful stay in Bormes Les Mimosas in this charming apartment. The downstairs neighbor, Claude, was very helpful when we had some difficulty opening the lockbox upon checking in. Throughout our stay, Claude continued to provide help with the WiFi, as well as providing much information for dining and visiting the area. She was amazing!The apartment itself has stunning views, all visible from the floor to ceiling French doors along one full side of the building. The lovely balcony ran the full length of the building and was a wonderful spot from morning through evening!The location of the apartment, just a couple of minutes walk from the charming old village of Bormes les Mimosas, is perfect! We had a delightful stay and hope to return to Nicola’s lovely apartment again someday!!

This apartment is delightful. The furnishings are comfortable, the view is stunning, there are artful touches in all the rooms, and everything one needs for a pleasant stay is provided. The owner is helpful and communicative though not locally based. The narrow street to the apartment and the very tight parking place are best navigated in a small car. Dining options are available within walking distance, and the charming hillside town is within a short drive of other great places to explore. Loved staying here.

What a place......

Nicola's apartment is just the most magical place we've stayed in for many, many years in our travels around France - the views from the balcony are mesmerising - you won't need to take any books to read! The apartment itself is beautifully appointed and very tastefully furnished including lots of cooking equipment. The King-sized master bedroom is extremely comfortable and quiet at night. Lounging while watching the TV(distracted by the view), Eating at the table (distracted by the view), even washing up at the sink (distracted by the view). From when the sun first comes up, till it sets, you could spend all day in the three different seating positions on the balcony, soaking up the... you've guessed it, the view!! Access to the apartment is good and the private parking space was a bonus. Bormes les Mimosa is a beautiful village with many historical streets and buildings and the apartment is perfectly situated within 1 min walk to the small boulangerie - perfect for an early morning croissant. Drive to Plage de Cabasson (15mins away) and park (7Euro). Then walk around the headland to Plage du Grand Jardin - it's a bit of a trek but oh... is it worth it - white, sandy beach and azure sea. It feels remote and tropical - no shops or bars - just beach and sea, so make sure you take plenty of provisions with you! Bormes is a truly beautiful village and the apartment is magnificent. We shall be returning, unless we can convince Nicola to sell it to us, in which case we'd be able to enjoy it forever

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Bormes-les-Mimosas.Le propriétaire ne vivant pas sur place, nous avons eu quelques dysfonctionnements qu’il aura à régler dès qu’il reviendra. Superbe appartement vraiment très bien équipement, très pratique et avec une très belle décoration. Nous nous y sommes immédiatement senti très bien, comme à la maison. La vue du grand balcon sur Bormes les Mimosas et le Lavandou avec la mer au loin est juste magnifique. Bormes les Mimosas est un magnifique petit village, extrêmement fleuri. Et très bien situé pour visiter les environs (Saint Tropez, Port Grimaud, Le Lavandou, Le fort de Brégançon, ...)

Beautiful Apartment with a wonderful view

Nicola's apartment, its location and the views are a dream. The apartment is just as presented in the photos. The beds are very comfortable, the bed linen and towels all lovely and soft, the kitchen is very well equipped, and there is all one needs for a day at the beach. Nicola was quick to respond at all times, and very accommodating. Bormes was our favourite weekend getaway when we lived in Nice, and where we spent part of our honeymoon. We were a little sad to learn that the Grande Hotel had closed, but now we are delighted to have found such a lovely accommodation in Bormes. We look forward to returning.

Having holidayed in the area a number of times we found and bought our apartment in 2005. We have spent many lovely holidays here with our children and our friends. We love the area with its beautiful beaches, the wonderful flowers and scenery and of course the sunshine and local wines! It is a great base for road cycling or mountain biking in the hills behind the village - a regular pastime for the family. The apartment is one of 5 within a large old french building combining french charm with modern living.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is ideally situated on the edge of the village. A short amble to all the restaurants and shops and of course the wonderful views. It is also very close to beautiful safe beaches, through vineyards.

What makes this property unique

You will never tire of the view from the living room and kitchen and balcony. It is stunning - ideal to rest on the balcony with a cooling drink before you wander out for a local meal in the evening. The apartment is in a quiet location yet a short stroll away from all amenities. With a boulangerie nearby for your morning breakfast provisions and a choice of restaurants and shops nearby you won't need to use the car other than to drive to the beaches. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
