4 BR/3BA Poolhouse is 4 miles from the famous Siesta Key Beach

This home has a fresh spa-like feel with modern touches. The U-shaped house wraps around a large patio with free-form pool. 40 feet of glass doors open onto the 1400 square ft lanai for 100% indoor/outdoor living.The lanai looks into a tropical garden and behind that is an 8 foot fence for total privacy. Two of the bedrooms overlook the pool. The terrazzo granite floors throughout-out the home have been restored and the house is completely updated with new furniture, window treatments, linens. All beds are encased in 'Allergy Armour' mattress bags.
This is a true pool house. There is no fence between the house and the pool. All the doors, including the living room and kitchen, open directly onto the pool area. If this is a safety concern for you, you may not want to choose this house. The sliders lock and the doors have burglebars on them. Instructions for the burglebars are on a bulletin board behind the front door.

The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and a 15 minute walk gets you to Starbucks, a grocery store, Crunch gym and other shopping.

We are four miles from Siesta Key beach which is rated one of the top 10 beaches in the country. It is an easy drive and there is plenty of parking at the beach. There are beach chairs and beach towels at the house.

Awesome Stay

The house was very clean and quiet. It was close to the beaches, grocery stores and restaurants. The Owner was easy to communicate with and provided a detailed binder with info on anything you wanted to do, eat, beaches and maps. The pool was so relaxing. Had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was very clean and spacious. The pool and outside area was perfect. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt very safe staying there. Great Family Getaway

The house was wonderful, the pool area was large with many areas to enjoy with family members. A very clean, well equipped property with comfy beds and modern furnishings. The house is just unbelievable with the large pool, the many bedrooms and bathrooms and the careful selected furniture. Fabulous! We loved the pool and inside edge around the pool shell. Convenient to Restaurants, shopping and Siesta Key Beach. Very nice accommodations; very thought out. Everything about this property was accurate to the information we received. The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our family enjoys cooking/eating in and not always going out, so for us, the kitchen was ideal. It was very well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, pots/pans, casseroles, storage containers, spices, and other items that made it very well equipped. Thanks to Linda! We would definitely return to this property when traveling to the Sarasota area.

Linda was very helpful with the check in process. Location: Great location. Publix , and Walmart blocks away. Siesta key Beach is 12-15 minutes away from the house. Neighborhood: Quite , secluded. House: it is huge for a family of 4. 4 bedrooms equipped with everything. Renovated bathrooms. Plenty of beach towels. Pool: the best feature! Going to beach: don’t worry about it. Fabulous place to stay

We loved staying at this home. The neighborhood was quiet. The pool was amazing. Especially night swimming. The location was close to everything. The home was immaculate. The owners thought of everything. There were beach chairs umbrella, noodles, rafts. Would stay again.

My family is large ...In the winter the 4 bedrooms mean that relatives can be coming and going and no one ends up on the sofa.
I walk my 18 lb dog to Starbucks in the morning when it's still cool out and both of us are happy the rest of the day! After I get home I pick up bagels at Brooklyn Bagels or croissants at Rondevous French Bakery and the rest of the family is also happy!
Crunch Fitness is a 1 mile walk from the house and the Anytime Fitness is a 5min drive. The YMCA'S are also fabulous here in Sarasota and we are convenient to 2 of the best.

Update: Winter 2021, if anyone is going to Siesta Key beach they leave the house early, like 10 am, unless they want to struggle for parking.

I try to respond promptly if anything comes up during the stay. Texting with me is generally the best way to communicate.

Why they chose this property

After driving up and down both coasts over 3 winters I chose Sarasota because of the very established feel of the town.
Many of the developments were established years ago and the landscaping is mature and beautiful, The clean, modern style that is represented by the 'Sarasota School of Architecture' pops up here and there in the neighborhood.
The house is centrally located to the Gulf Gate Restaurant scene, Siesta Key Village and the downtown restaurants. The many beaches on Siesta Key are 4 miles from the house and Siesta Key Village is 4 miles from the house.

What makes this property unique

The house is spread out and there are several different places to relax.
Each person can have as much or as little privacy as they want. Most of the bedrooms have desks if you need to work remotely.
The pool area is so delightful that many guests have told me they never went to the beach.
