This was a short getaway weekend with my pup to enjoy the fall colors, get some hiking in, and remember my husband. Perfectly tucked away cabin with a great view!

Thank you for staying at our log cabins. We strive to give our guest the best experience to enjoy the Smoky Mountains and our little bit of paradise.
Beautiful, cozy home! My family and I enjoyed a weekend getaway. The hosts reply quickly and help solve any issues. Their home is beautiful and cozy. The gas fireplace added to the coziness. We enjoyed the views from the porch swing. We also got to see the goats! Would stay here again.
This cozy cabin was easy to find on GPS, on a paved road that doesn’t require 4WD. There’s single gravel slopped parking approaching the entry, and another flat grassy area in front of the cabin. The grassy area is adjacent to the next cabin’s parking, so space might be tight if you have multiple vehicles. There are 4 cabins located adjacent to the owner’s property, but despite the close proximity, it was quiet and peaceful with no issues. The kitchen had basic essentials including refrigerator, stove, microwave, cookware, dinnerware, & utensils. Dishsoap, sponge & kitchen garbage bags were included. You’ll need to bring your own napkins, paper towels, & spices/condiments. The kitchen bar & living room area included a lot of furniture all squeezed into a small area (bar stools, couch, rocking chairs, table, chairs). We were a small family of 3 + 1 dog, so we were okay with the space. The downstairs master bedroom included 2 dressers, & closet including coat hangers with ample room to either hang or put clothes in drawers. The master bath had a tub/shower combo. The upstairs loft included the washer and dryer, the bedroom area with 2 beds, and a bathroom with tub/shower combo. The washing machine was a bit loud, but worked fine. Both bathrooms included hand soap and toilet paper. There’s a gas fireplace, but the central heat was sufficient so we never used it. Overall cleanliness was fine, but the floors/rugs could use a deep clean. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
The overall cabin and location were wonderful, but if your looking for being by yourself…
Nice property, clean, beautiful.
But you are surrounded by 3 other cabins so you don’t get that feeling of seclusion if your looking for that. Neighbor is right out your door. But if that doesn’t bother you, it’s an overall great place and location. Close proximity to many things.
We recently stayed over Memorial Day Weekend with family. It was nothing short of perfect. The cabin and view are perfect. It’s like your own little piece of heaven sitting on the porch. The owner Ray was wonderful and so helpful. I hope to return in the future.

The cabin was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay in cabin #4. It was very relaxing. I loved the porch and the porch swing. Glad we were also able to bring our pup with us. This is the 3rd time we've vacationed in the Smoky Mountains. I would rent the cabin again.
Wonderful cabin. Just a couple suggestions. When we checked in, the febreeze scent was pretty overpowering. Girlfriend has asthma, so such heavily fragrance caused a asthma attack. We called the number on the fridge, they confirmed the cleaning staff uses about half bottle. Also, toilets had the purple cleaner in them, but can tell the actual toilets haven’t been scrubbed with a brush in a while due to the stain rings. Also, you got a carpenter bee infestation nest on the porch, might want to get that taken care of, those little buggers can wreak havoc on a cabin in a short time
We loved our stay in cabin #4. Our favorite was the enclosed porch, it was perfect for relaxing with my dog. The cabin was cozy and comfortable for our nature getaway. It was close to restaurants in the area. We especially loved the buttered biscuit for breakfast and boojam brewery and frogs leap brewery for dinner. Everyday we went hiking and the cabin was a central location to hikes in the blue ridge and Smokey mountains.
We were looking for a place that was adjacent to local skiing and restaurants. We also wanted a relaxing place to enjoy time together with a mountain “feel”. This place was perfect and satisfied all of our needs.
Excellent views. Quiet and relaxing. Deck with swing was great. Owner was friendly. Convenient to downtown Maggie Valley, Waynesville and I-40. Overall, definitely met our expectations for a 4 day getaway. Trash removal process is our only suggestion for improvement as the drop off process, dates, coordination for early departure on Monday was chaotic. Prefer to leave trash outside cabin instead of delivery to county location.
Cabin 4 at Deer Country rentals was perfect for my wife and I. It provided a secluded feel with the great view we were wanting. The leaves were changing and the temperatures were cool, both things this Florida couple also wanted. The cabin was clean, cozy and we couldn't of asked for more. I also had the opportunity to meet Ray, the owner and found him to be a very nice guy who genuinely seems to want to do all he can for his guests. It was a wonderful experience and my wife and I hope to return again and again.
I took my son on a surprise trip to this great little cabin to get out of town for 2 days. Wonderful views off the porch and so quite. We kept the doors open to let the fresh mountain air and cool breeze in.
Be sure to check out the owners frozen treat place, it was really good.
