What used to be the original Farmhouse when Knockerdown was a working farm, has now been converted into a 5 bedroom holiday cottage sleeping up to 12 guests, making it an ideal property for family or friends to get together, also being dog friendly it sleeps up to 2 well behaved dogs. Enclosed walled garden with outdoor seating. In easy walking distance to the beautiful Carsington Water where you can cycle or walk around the reservoir (approx. 8 miles) or sample the many water sports they have on offer, have a leisurely walk around the shops, grab a coffee or if you do not feel like cooking then sample breakfast or lunch whilst taking in the breath taking views. The towns of Ashbourne and Wirksworth are both within a 10 minute drive away along with getting on the Tissington Trail, which is miles of disused railway lines giving you safe off road walking or cycling whilst taking in the views of the rolling hills of Derbyshire. Being set in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales also means many local attractions are in easy reach, such as Chatsworth House, The Heights of Abraham and Alton Towers. All cottages at our holiday village can make use of the indoor heated swimming pool and games room.

The farmhouse style kitchen is well equipped for all your self catering needs and includes a double oven, hob, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils.

All bedrooms have ample drawer and wardrobe space.

One hairdryer is provided.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and wash basin.

The ground floor shower room has enclosed shower, WC and wash basin.
