The apartment is located on the calm border, between the neighborhood of Madragoa (popular, authentic, historic) and the neighborhood of Lapa and Santos (neighborhoods of upper / upper middle class), which causes an enriching social mix and contrasts. The proximity of the Tagus River, allows long walks along the bank where you can stop for a drink and enjoy the sunset or do sports. Among many of the architectural works in Madragoa / Lapa / Santos, the Palácio dos Duques de Aveiro stands out, the Casa dos Marqueses de Abrantes and the oldest and most modest of Lisbon's chapels, that of the Martyrs. Also there is the Embassy of France, where Gil Vicente (after the Castle of São Jorge), started the Portuguese theater.
