Awesome place and location. Host was great and well organized.
Great great property. Easily supports a big group. Too bad the community has little to offer for support in terms of finding restaurants, groceries, etc.

Thanks for your review. So pleased you enjoyed staying in Bay View.
For groceries Criccieth high street has a baker, butcher and a couple of convenience stores. Nearby Porthmadog has a large Tesco, Lidl and Aldi.
Criccieth has plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes. I'm guessing that perhaps you struggled to get a table as it was bank holiday weekend at the time of your visit. I would advise all guests to book in advance particularly at peak times. Alternatively there are a couple of great fish and chip shops, plus Indian and Chinese takeaways.
Thank you for your feedback, we would love to welcome you again.
The house is in a fantastic position and is beautifully kept and extremely comfortable. Having not been to Criccieth for about 45 years, it was good to revisit old haunts and lovely to stay at Bayview.
A fab few days with friends in Criccieth. Criccieth itself is a lovely, quiet place. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, it was perfect for a large group. The fact each room had an en-suite was great. It was amazing waking up to the beautiful view of the ocean and hearing the waves. Jane kept in touch and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Thanks for a fab stay!
Everything about the booking was simple, including communications with the owner regarding keys. The accommodation was spotless. Kitchen, games & reception rooms were very well equipped. Criccieth is a delightful, traditional seaside town. We would definitely book again.
Excellent large lounge. Well equipped kitchen and very big dining table. Wonderful to have all seven bedrooms en suite.
Good position on the sea front and yet close to the town.
We knew there was not much outdoor space, but the back “yard” was very disappointing.
We had a very enjoyable holiday in this property.

Thank you for your review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the house and location for your summer holiday. Thank you for your feedback on our back yard. I have posted a photo of it on the advert so people can get an idea of what our back yard looks like. Hopefully as the house is on the seafront, I'd imagine most people like to sit on the front patio or on the beach which is only a few steps away. Many thanks and we would love to welcome you again.
Bay View is a superb house right on the sea front in a quiet location. Our ages ranged from 8 months to 60yrs and the house was ideal for all of us. It is very well equipped, wonderfully clean and the fact that all the bedrooms had en-suite facilities made it extra special. The weather wasn't great but we managed to do all that we wanted to and loved coming back to the house at the end of the day. We shall certainly recommend Bay View. Thank you.
Could not fault this beautiful house, had everything we needed for our 4 generation family holiday. Good facilities in the kitchen for catering for a large group, loved the large dining table which we could all sit around comfortably. Lovely lounge upstairs with enough seating for everybody. One of the best holiday homes w e have stayed in.
Bay View was ideal for our extended family group -ages 7 to 78. Jane was very helpful and answered our phone queries straightaway. Very comfortable, well equipped house - lovely location on the seafront with beautiful views across to Harlech. We had a great time.

Beautiful Bay View
So pleased to find such a comfortable and homely place after a long journey late at night. Our bedroom was well-equipped right down to a hair dryer and the en suite was really clean. In the lounge we could just spread out, chill out and relax! The kitchen had more than enough crockery and glasses for everyone and we felt really at home.
We were walking the Coastal Path which went right past the front door! What more could we want?!

Perfect
Just returned from a wonderful weekend in Criccieth. We rented both houses for a large family birthday gathering. The houses were set up to a very high standard and catered for the needs of all age groups. We would have no hesitation in returning to the properties or recommending them to others.

AN EXCEPTIONAL HOLIDAY HOME!
Our family of 14 arrived at Bay View for our annual get together and what an amazing place it turned out to be. The Owner had thought of every luxury for the convenience of a large group. Two dishwashers, two kettles, two toasters, two superb fridges AND a tin with home made cake - what else can we say .....
The accommodation was spacious, beautifully furnished and quality throughtout and the position overlooking the sea was glorious. We can't recommend this holiday home too highly.

Amazing!
Had the most amazing time for my 40th birthday, a group of 12 all mixed ages! The house was superb, totally everything you needed plus more. The dining table was out of this world - well every bit of furniture was superb - totally unique and one off's.
It was spotlessly clean and perfect. Jane the owner has been fabulous too. I would really recommend this place. We've been going away every year for 4 years and decided to go somewhere different every year - as Jane is opening next door in 2015 were going to there! Well it's somewhere different.

Fantastic family holiday
We spent a lovely few days in this fantastic house. It is beautifully decorated with all of the home comforts you could want. The lounge was lovely with amazing views of the sea, so relaxing sitting in the window looking out. Loved the family bunk rooms and the kids enjoyed the games room. Overall a brilliant family holiday, love criccieth and would definitely recommend Bayview.
