Up the wooden staircase are the two bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, exposed beams and garden views. The family bathroom has a separate walk in shower and free-standing bath so guests can enjoy a long soak to unwind while on holiday.

We had an incredible time! Place was spacious and had all necessary amenities! Super easy to find, get in and move around! I’d definitely stay here again if in the area!
Pets allowed would be a fairer summary rather than pet friendly, while pre holiday correspondence was accurate and timely, as a professionally managed let a little short and missing some of the personal touch of an independent let.

A great stay in a lovely cottage.
Easy access to some picturesque walks and sites. A beautiful cottage to come home to and sit by the log burner in the lounge. Comfy beds, and great to have a bath that was big enough to lay down in.

Excellent stay
Really well equipped and super comfy. Great location for exploring the area.
Nothing
Everything generally great. If nit-picking, we would have appreciated some clocks (to save having to look for mobile) and some pegs downstairs and in the bath room.

Amazing cottage, with everything you could wish for - quaint and modern.
Beautiful location, beautiful cottage... Everything you could ever need for an enjoyable stay. Quaint and modern - the garden layout for the summer nights was perfect to relax in. A gem of a find - A great place to relax and unwind in Buxton.
We stayed at Wye Head Cottage for a long weekend in March. The cottage is lovely, plenty of space for 4 adults and two doggies. There is a great enclosed garden for the dogs and walks right on your doorstep. A 15 minute walk into Buxton for all amenities was great. Added bonus was the off road parking for 2 cars. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Excellent cottage in a great location to Buxton
The cottage is lovely with excellent facilities and in a very good location to access Buxton and the pubs etc within. Takes around 5-10 mins to walk into the town. We were delighted to find plenty of fire wood for the log burner and the house is lovely and warm even in the freezing weather we had over new year.

Great little cottage in a good location in the lovely town of Buxton
We’ll equipped, comfortable furnishings, nice garden & well placed in the Peak District
We arrived during an unusually cold spell in June and needed the heating on to take the chill off the place but it was hard to find the instructions and being a weekend emergency only calls were acceptable.

Hi Jill,
I hope you were able to explore the beautiful surroundings, Wye Head Cottage really allows you to take in the peak district in all it's magnificent glory. I am sorry you were at the mercy of the awful British weather and found it to be cold, your feedback is very valuable to us and we will look into making the instructions more accessible.

Perfect get away
Beautiful cottage, really well equipped. Lovely welcome pack of milk, bubbles and a Christmas panettone - a lot of effort had gone into making us feel right at home.
This is a lovely cottage, that is very well equipped and very comfortable. It is in walking distance to the centre of town and various pubs and restaurants. We would suggest some coat hooks be added near the front door.
Beautiful cottage, everything you need for a chilled getaway is available. Lovely welcome gift from the owner upon check-in. Town has shops for goods needed but rained mostly so made the most of the cottage. Would recommend and looking to book again.

Wye Head Cottage
We had a most enjoyable stay at this will furnished and extremely clean cottage. The accommodation was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils and appliances you require. The cottage is well positioned for easy walking access into the centre of Buxton or onto the adjacent hills. We would highly recommend this property for a short or long term stay and would certainly consider coming back in the future.
As advertised if a little close to a busy road. Internally and garden excellent. One slightly negative comment are the internal steps linking kitchen and dining area which present a trip risk.

Gem of a place
Location was good for a short walk into town. Warm cosy cottage with welcome ‘bits’ including festive feel. Really relaxing stay. Really liked Dandelion Coffee, Khomkhai Thai restaurant and The Frog bar.
A few extra bits in the kitchen would be useful, including oven trays and roasting tin, salad bowl and servers and a bread knife. Hooks for coats near the door would be handy too. Overall really happy and only mentioning these things as tiny improvements to a splendid cottage.

First Visit To Buxton
The cottage it’s self was great, loved the private garden, it was homely and welcoming and the pack of galaxy cakes went down a treat, small milk in the fridge and tea and coffee was also appreciated, plenty of clean towels plenty of hot water and heating, we enjoyed our stay.
A bread bin would be good to be able to put cakes and bread in rather than leaving them on the worktops, no dishcloths, and no bin liners, although when I asked I was offered a reimbursement upon purchasing said items, which was appreciated, the general cleaning was ok, did see a few cobwebs, the shower tray was looking a bit tired especially in the corners where the grime was collecting, but overall we enjoyed our stay

Great location and perfect with the dog
Very dog friendly property. Fantastic location being able to walk into Buxton with lots to do. Ideal location for walking in the Peaks.
More normal sized mugs for tea would be useful. Some bin bags available would have been good as previous people hadn’t used them so I had to clean the inside of the bin out as it was really smelly and horrid. Shame the doors upstairs are really noisy but understand that can’t be helped.

Hi Rebecca, Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed the location and that your pooch benefitted from the beautiful surroundings. I will share your comments regarding the mugs and bin liners with the rest of the team and we will investigate the matter regarding the bin further. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely cottage, very handy for all we were able & planned to do. The weather was extremely icy and wintery so some salt on the drive would have been helpful but not a major problem.
The living area and kitchen was perfect for our weekend and very warm and cosy. I would've reduced the amount of time the CH was on but couldn't/didn't have time to change the programme. Felt very indulgent given the cost of heating but very grateful.
Bedrooms perfectly comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom is very well appointed and easy to use. We didn't have time to enjoy the fabulous bath. The shower looked like it might not drain properly as I could see water on the top of the drain but worked fine.
Overall a comfortable and well designed home from home with lovely character and charm. Thank you.

Good place to stay in Buxton
Nice comfy warm house with an enclosed garden and a drive to park in. Well located, on a moderately busy road. Well equipped, we enjoyed it.
Not much, an nespresso machine would be nice.
