This is a truly lovely and well appointed place. View of the water. Fabulous master suite (two sinks and a great shower). Every thing we needed was there. And the hosts left milk and cookies for us. Thank you!

Perfect in every way!

We loved The Black Barn! It was well appointed, had comfortable beds ( unlike our previous location) and was in a great location for all of our adventures around the island. We really enjoyed the bathrooms for each bedroom for our adult family of 6. The kitchen and living room areas had plenty of room to spread out. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing

My friends and family stayed in Black Barn as a jumping off point to explore the Scottish Highlands and absolutely loved this property. The home is very clean, spacious and a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We can’t wait to go back. The kitchen is stocked with most things you need. We enjoyed having the large counter space and dining area since we did a fair amount of cooking. The living room seating is very comfortable and nice for evening lounging. We loved the digital fireplace, it looks very real and even crackles. The views from the living room, kitchen and primary bedroom are stunning. We are American, so it took us a bit of time to figure out how the appliances work and heating work. The dryer has a small container you must dump often to dry clothes as it pulls the moisture out. There is a small grocery store very nearby that has most basics you will need. We will stay here again.
