Town: Northleach is located 8 miles north-east of Cirencester, 10 miles south-west of Stow-on-the-Wold, and about 7 miles from Burford, on the Roman route known as the Fosse Way (A429). It is an ideal starting point for visiting these popular and lovely destinations. Northleach was formerly a bustling market town known across Europe as a significant hub for the Cotswold wool trade! The affluent wool merchants paid for the fifteenth-century church of St Peter and St Paul, which was erected using stone taken from the town's quarry and what is now the Market Square.
