Either direction offers breathtaking scenery, you can pick up the coast path at many other places along the Cornish coast too, and you will be met by rugged coves such as Godrevy point with its resident seal colony, quaint seaside villages and harbours dotted along the dramatic coastline. There are several excellent cycle trails nearby including the coast to coast trail from neighbouring Portreath to Devoran, as well as the well-known Camel Trail which runs from Padstow to Wadebridge and on to Bodmin. The Great Flat Lode mining trail which is a waking and cycle trail can be joined nearby too and offers some stunning views of both coastlines as well as being home to a multitude of old engine houses, telling stories of the old mining times which Cornwall was once famous for.

Porthtowan’s close proximity to the main A30 means you can easily access the rest of this stunning county. With a whole host of National Trust properties and gardens to choose from, including St Michaels Mount in Marazion, or the sub-tropical gardens of Glendurgan near Falmouth. Also accessible from here is the famous Eden Project and the Minack Theatre, a spectacular, open air theatre perched on the cliff near Porthcurno. The famous surfing town of Newquay is a short drive away, where you will find an aquarium, Newquay Zoo, a trampoline park or concrete waves skate park, swimming pools with water slides and more beautiful beaches. The list of places to visit is endless, so whether you want relaxing summer days strolling to the beach, blustery winter walks along the stunning coastal paths or to get out and about and explore everything this glorious county has to offer, Trebisken will be waiting to welcome you.
