Come and relax in this quiet apartment in the heart of the Oltrarno, in the ancient district of San Frediano. On the second floor of a small and characteristic condominium you will find this lovely recently renovated apartment, consisting of a living room with TV, double bedroom, eat-in kitchen and bathroom with window and shower. The sofa can become a comfortable double bed and the apartment will accommodate 4 people in two separate rooms. There is air conditioning and everything needed for cooking, and also a convenient washing machine for longer stays. We are waiting for you!

Great apartment, amenities, but a few issues

The location is amazing; right by Carrera Gelato! ;-) The place is good, the pull-out couch is okay, not super-comfortable. Our biggest issues were that the shower head was broken, so we had to rig up something to we didn’t have to hold it all the time. And, the manager/owner is kind, but not very responsive. It seems as if she’s only online about 9 am every day…if you write at 9:15 with a question or problem…don’t expect to hear back for 24 hrs. AND, we had very bad luck with the lockbox. When we were trying to check-in/arrive, it didn’t work. We tried and tried…and tried. Gave up, started calling, texting the manager and even writing to VRBO. No one responded. Headed to the bar for a Prosecco. After about 1 hour, my husband went back & tried again…and it worked. (NEVER figured out what we had done differently.) It was about 4pm at that point and I was beginning to research other places to go for the night (or the next 3 weeks that we were supposed to be in Florence…with a cat). So good, but could be a LOT more responsive.
