We felt very welcome when meeting the owners at the hotel the apartment belonged too. The standard of the rooms were very good. The area was very quiet.
This was a great property for our family visit to Tarland/Aboyne. Bev was a great host and property was excellent. Lovely garden area, great furnishings and very well appointed.
The steading was beautiful, amazingly well appointed, we wanted for nothing. All rooms were spacious with storage and lovely bathrooms. All the services of the hotel at our disposal and the warm friendly staff and great well priced food made our stay even better. We will definitely be returning!

We are delighted you and Mum enjoyed your stay and made use of the services in the hotel.
We look forward to welcoming you back.
The property is large with lots of great space. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The bath towels are huge and plush. The blinds in the bedrooms would not stay closed on most of the windows, so it become quite warm when the sun was shining in those west facing windows. The kitchen is spacious with great appliances. The pots and pans have been heavily used and the nonstick coating is very scratched. They could use replacing. The only seasoning available in the kitchen was salt.Adorable town/village. There is a very small grocery market just across the street for grocery essentials. I never received any information on how to check in, so I stopped in at the Commercial Hotel (the cottage sits on the hotel parking lot grounds.) Upon checkout, I also didn't have any specific instructions, so I left the key near the television and shut the door as I left at 07:45.

Thank you Courtney, we are delighted your family enjoyed your stay.
I have noted your comments re the blinds which have now been repaired and new saucepans are in place!
We rented No 1 The steading for 3 nights over Christmas.
Communication and check-in was easy and welcoming. Lots of parking in front of the house.
The house was just perfect. Modern comfort with a cottage feel.
It was immaculately clean. Furnished and decorated to a very high standard, with fluffy towels and quality bedding, well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge with cushions and throws.
Warm and cosy with central heating and the log burner.
A lovely touch was the Christmas tree and welcome pack full of goodies.
We all felt really at home and although we didn’t use the hotel the bar and restaurant seemed equally cosy and welcoming.
My only suggestion would be for more crockery and cutlery as we seemed to keep running out.
Highly recommended!

Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht (sogar etwas mahr als das!). Die Lage ist idael für Ausflüge in die Cairngorms, man kommtaber auch gut an die Ostküste (z.B. Dunnotar Castle).
