Pretty, three-bedroom cottage in Chapel Stile. Superb location for fell walking. Bike store. Village amenities close by. Sleeps five people and is ideal for a family group.
Town: A delightful, rural village nestled right in the heart of the beautiful Lake District National Park. Chapel Stile is an excellent hidden gem, set at the bottom of a stunning valley, flanked on one side by the River Brathay, surrounded by incredible scenery and filled with wonderful slate and stone buildings. The village offers a traditional church from the mid 1800's as well as a café, a pub and a village shop that has stood for well over 100 years. Chapel Stile is a great base for exploring this National Park, with easy access to a number of sights and fells worth visiting. You must go to the lovely neighbouring village of Elterwater and stand on the Skelwith Bridge and simply take in the views. Nearby are the fantastic Lake District towns of Ambleside and Kendal are withing a short driving distance, offering excellent views, buildings and so much to do. For you outdoors people, make sure you visit Bowness-on-Windermere, with its incredible lake activities and so much to do; it's perfect for families.

Nice little cottage
Lovely property , perfect location well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook with .Night lights were a welcome extra. Only niggle heater in the down stairs bedroom wasn’t set so room was cold .

Ideal für Wanderer
Chapel Stile liegt im Langdale-Tal und ist damit für Wanderer ideal gelegen. Man kann locker 5 Tagestouren direkt von der FeWo aus starten und jedes Mal andere Berggipfel oder Teile des Tals erwandern.
Die Wohnung ist absolut in Ordnung, lediglich die Bedienung der vielen Steckdosen in der Unterkunft ist etwas umständlich - vor Ort liegen aber die Bedienungsanleitungen aus (in Englisch) und die Steckdosen/Schalter sind alle beschriftet.
