The property managers were excellent. They were very helpful, courteous and timely with the accommodations . The cottage was very clean and as advertised. We would highly recommend and would consider staying there again.
Wonderful place, had everything you could wish for. Good starting point to drive up north. Excellent restaurants and places to shop in nearby Inverness. We really enjoyed our stay!
This home was beautiful. Very clean and very spacious. It was in a great location, quiet and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Was very happy with our stay there!!
The house is wonderful and very spacious! It’s also well supplied with thoughtful and helpful products throughout! And the location is very peaceful and quiet. It’s wonderful for a relaxing time, and it’s centrally located to see sites in both Inverness and the coast and the Cairngorms NP. Just wish we could return to Scotland so we could visit again.

Beautiful place
Lovely house, fantastic location. Very homely and well-managed.

The property was beautiful, a lovely location in the quiet countryside with easy access to Inverness sites and the Cairngorms area. The layout was suited to small or larger groups. We had 5 adults and fit comfortably. Communication was excellent and check in and check out was very easy. We highly recommend the property!
Lovely, warm property to enjoy. We had 4 lovely days there housing 6 grown adults very well. Close to interchanges to go west or east. Nick was great to work with. Thank you for the great place to stay
This property is one of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at. The decor in side is beautiful and immaculate, and the outside grounds are the same. It was the perfect place for us to unwind at after a day of exploring the area. The beds were very comfortable and the drying rack for laundry was very inventive. The perfect holiday stop for us as toured Scotland for 14 days
We hit the jackpot with this property. The quiet location and wonderful home had a vibe that made us feel like we'd been here before and were welcomed back. The grounds are gorgeous and the location near Culloden and Clava Cairns really worked for us. Easy drive into Inverness too. I highly recommend this place and we loved the people we worked with who own the home. Big thumbs up!
We are so grateful that this property was true to their listing. It was a beautiful space that gave the 6 of us all comfort and relaxation. We loved the space so much that we stayed an extra night. Everything from fresh flowers to hand soap, was a gift of joy. This property made it easy to feel at home with all the necessary conforts. The owners thought of everything, even out door comforts. We would stay here again and again!
This was among the best houses we ever rented. It was very comfortable, roomy and clean. We cooked in and had all the pans, dishes and utensils necessary as well as a bbq grill. Furthermore, there were fresh flowers and snacks provided for us. We were close to Inverness so able to visit Loch Ness and Dunrobin Castle. This is a rental property that you want to rent. Fantastic!
Beautiful home and setting. 7 minutes from the grocery store. The home has everything you could imagine (detergents, lint roller, high chair, pack n play, many games were among the things we used that you usually don’t find in a vacation rental). There’s plenty of space for your party to not feel on top of each other indoors. We loved our stay and wish we had stayed longer.

Stayed at Longfield to take part in the Loch Ness marathon
Stayed at Longfield to take part in the Loch Ness marathon. 15 mins from Inverness and an idyllic location! The home was clean, comfortable and more than met expectations! Really well kitted out with log burner, treats on arrival and well equipped kitchen. We felt at home as soon as soon we arrived and opened the door! Outside space was superb with loads of space, and a lovely secret garden amongst the trees. We will return again with our extended family for a longer break! 😊

A fantastic stay at Longfield
A fantastic stay at Longfield. The house was immaculate on the inside and out with lovely quality furnishings and decor. With great links to Inverness and the Cairngorms we would definitely stay again.
The home was very pretty, well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The hosts were easy to work with and even left a snack basket.. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit and recommend it for a stay just outside Inverness in the peaceful countryside. We were there in early October and enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings.

Erin Having worked in tourism for many years, I felt now was the time to give people the sustainable choices that are increasingly important to us all. So using my extensive knowledge of the local market, I have created igloo with Nick. I understand fully the needs of owners and guests, having worked in the industry for a considerable length of time in management roles within rentals, sales and lodge services.
What I love best about the job is the customer satisfaction. Ensuring that everything is as it should be when my guests arrive and that they are kept well informed before, during and after their stay. I love it when people call and you really get a chance to get to know them.
I have been brought up in Aviemore, as were many generations of my family before me. So I bring a deep rooted sense of love and responsibility to the area that I live in.
Nick I have had two passions for as long as I can remember - Travelling and The Highlands.
Growing up here in the Highlands, I have always been passionate about its history, places, people and our world class food & drink. I am particularly fond of our local craft beers!
I love to travel and I've always enjoyed getting off beaten track and experiencing things like a local. There is no better way to do this than self-catering.
Starting igloo with Erin not only allows me to combine these two passions but brings together my design, marketing and management skills built from a varied career across the public and private sector.
