Dieffe is a characteristic apartment in the heart of Florence, a stone's throw from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and close to the most interesting Florentine museums and all the shopping streets. The apartment is located on the second floor of an ancient building, with parquet and wooden coffered ceilings. It has a large double bedroom with large wardrobe, a bright living room with sofa bed, a kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking, oven, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, etc., and a comfortable bathroom with shower and washing machine. It is located a short distance from the Santa Maria Novella station and the tram stop, you will not need a car for your stay in Florence.



We recently replaced the windows with soundproof models, repainted the entire house, and reorganized the wardrobe, carefully following our guests’ suggestions.

Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. The internet was fast. The location is outstanding and the apartment is spacious and well furnished. It could use some cleaning - the shower didn't drain well and the light over the stove was not working.

This apartment is just around the corner from the Duomo and very close to the sites you want to see in Florence. The stairs up to the third-floor apartment are steep and challenging. But once you are in the apartment, it is very nice and comfortable.

Good location, very close to the Florence Duomo. One of the property's two air conditioning units did not work, and the second unit was unable to adequately cool the property. Owner should have provided electric fans since the dead unit was not repaired during our stay. Very minimal essentials provided; not up to par with what we've experienced at other VRBO properties.

If location is everything, then this apartment is everything. Steps from the Duomo, in the heart of city center, this clean and spacious apartment with a very comfy bed is great. Up two flights of stairs can be challenging with a large bag, but once you’re in, it’s great. There is an elevator but it started up one floor and wouldn’t stop on 2. And then we never got it to work again. The toilet seat definitely needs to be tightened, and the shower is small. But there are some soaps, a blow dryer, iron, and all the amenities we needed for our stay. The water pressure was GREAT, And the bed was so comfy after a day on our feet. We’ve stayed in 3 VRBO this trip and this was the best one in Italy. The windows are very noise proof but in the heart of the city you will hear some noise. We used white noise. Or if you’re a light sleeper, maybe ear plugs just in case. Finally, you have to pay outside of VRBO but it was legit. I called VRBO to confirm. Watch your email for instructions. I missed them!!
