A bus stop 5 minutes away allows you to visit Barnstaple, Bideford and Ilfracombe, where you can wander around weekly pannier markets, with a host of local produce, cafés and crafts on offer. On your journey, stopover at Fremington Quay for a tasty bite to eat and then at the estuary-side village of Instow.
One place not to forget a visit to is the world-famous village of Clovelly with its pedestrianised cobbled main street, traditional architecture, donkeys and views over the Bristol Channel. Royal North Devon Golf club is 10 minutes away and has been placed in Golf World Top Hundred courses in the world.
