In Sequim, located on 7 acres, lies a cozy two-bedroom cottage, ideal for your upcoming getaway. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee, spices and all the necessary dishes. Unwind in the cozy living room, where a smart TV, with Roku allows you to choose your favorite app and sign in .

Venture outside and relax on the porch, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area and in particular, the gardens off the porch. Enjoy the deer, quail, many varieties of birds. One type of Hummer spends all winter here. Watch the antics of Woodpeckers, Chickadee's, Junko's, etc. You will most likely see hawks, eagles, maybe an owl. Take a 26-minute drive to explore the stunning Olympic National Park, or head to the nearby John Wayne Marina, just an 11-minute drive away. After a day of adventure, visit a restaurant, sip wine on the porch, or relax in the cottage.
I charge a reasonable pet fee. All flooring is cleaned after a pet visits. This takes extra cleaning and sanitizing. 2 small dogs max. 1 large dog max.

This was a lovely little place. In a country setting, but close to town. Very close to the Dungeness River Nature Center.Lots of birds and a sweet little patio with enclosed well-kept yard.The owner was helpful and provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The cottage was cozy and perfect for our getaway to the Olympic Peninsula. We were wanting a quiet location and Veronica's cottage provided that along with a nice country setting. There are many convenient stores and restaurants nearby but not so close that you felt the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also a great jumping off point to exploring the towns and trails on the Olympic Peninsula. Everything we needed was provided and the communication was great. We would highly recommend!

Lovely peaceful little cottage not far from the park and some essential shops. The birds were lovely to watch, we particularly enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. The place was comfortable and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches such as binoculars for bird spotting!

Beautiful cottage, easy check in and check out. Yard was very pretty with flowers, plants, hummingbird and bird feeders. Sequim is a cute little town with lots of restaurant choices and shops. Olypic NP is close by and very beautiful.

I love staying here. This visit was my second time. My favorite thing is sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and quail; so relaxing and funny too. The cottage is well supplied for not only the kitchen and bath but also with park and outdoor information. In fact it is a great location for outdoors parks. I will definitely go back again.

Quite drive in

Quite drive in to a large garden property full of bird attracting plants with Mountain View’s. Clean, comfortable and perfect for our dog getting to roam safely at the property.

Moved to Sequim 10 yrs. ago. So much to see and do on the Peninsula. I own 2 horses and 7 acres. I have 2 dogs and a few kitties. Love Mexican food and margarita's. I think living by the water is extraordinary. Being at John Wayne Marina in 7 minutes never fails to amaze me. I am from Denver, love the mountains, but love the water also. Walking or biking, this is the place for me. I live very close to the Trail and Railroad Bridge Park. My dogs and I walk the trail often. Lots of nice people, and beautiful scenery. I TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN MY COTTAGE AND PUT A LOT OF WORK INTO IT. I have been hosting for 7 years now. The cottage is clean, homey and relaxing. The yard is beautiful, lots of birds and quail and hummingbirds. Every year the gardens grow and bloom more. RELAX!!! ENJOY THE HUMMERS, FINCH, WOODPECKERS, EAGLES, HAWKS, OWLS, QUAIL, AND BEAUTIFUL VIEW.. I TAKE REAL PRIDE IN MAKING SURE MY GUESTS WALK INTO THE COTTAGE AND FEEL A CLEAN, FRESH, & HOMEY EXPERIENCE. EXTRA CARE IS TAKEN TO SANITIZE !! This space is quiet and great for a mental and physical vacation. Go hike, eat and come home for a relaxing evening.

Why they chose this property

Open space..., hay field, the smell of sweet grass and hay. Hear the neighboring horses whinny, and the roosters crow. In the Spring you will hear the mama cows and their calves. Dark, quiet nights. Have a beverage, a snack and enjoy the evening.
I am more than likely to see deer at dusk and early morning in the field.
Quail often visit the yard to snack on falling bird feed. If I am lucky, the chicks will be here too, in the spring. Fawns come around with their mama's. Birds are singing in the trees and in the backyard which is a oasis for them.
The cottage feels like being far away, yet I am a short drive to downtown Sequim.

What makes this property unique

The sounds of the birds as you exit your vehicle. Walk up the front path and hear a variety of birds singing from the huge trees across the lane.
You will be surrounded by a active hay field. Deer are abundant and seen in the evening and mornings. Look up......hawks, eagles. After hay is cut, if you are lucky enough to be here, the eagles sit on the hay bales looking for a quick snack. Sometimes, 4 or 5 at a time. Hawks are nesting in the trees nearby.
Quail visit the cottage everyday. If a dog is around, they are more cautious. If not, they will come into the yard and look for treats and water.
The birds!! The birds visit, feed and bathe in the fountain by the porch. So fun to watch them play. Hummingbirds are abundant, all year.
The occassional coyote will pass through.
Relax , unwind, take in the beauty and silence and peace.
This home was set up for the comfort of my guests. I added it to my property because it is so beautiful here. I have tried to think of everything a guest might need or appreciate. If I missed anything, I am a phone call away. The cottage is CLEAN ! My pet fee's are minimal compared to most. I use high quality towels and bedding. Full kitchen is available as well as a washer and dryer. I reserve the W/D for 2 or more night stays.
