Set in beautiful countryside overlooking rolling pastures where the family’s cattle graze, the location is peaceful and charming. Enjoy holiday meals al fresco and soak up the countryside views. Gelli Gron is spacious with room for all - the large, comfortable kitchen with refectory table is ideal for family meals. There are two large sitting rooms with lovely views of fields and woodland with the sea in the distance and four bedrooms with one en-suite.
Lots of pleasant walks close to this modern holiday farmhouse in Criccieth, down leafy country lanes with banks of springtime flowers, cow parsley and foxgloves in the summer and blackberries in the autumn. Llangybi (1 mile) is a pretty village with old almshouses, a school, thick stone walled cottages and an ancient Church with St Cybil’s Well - the water was renowned for its healing properties in medieval times.
Criccieth overlooked by its castle has a range of local amenities including, interesting independent shops, restaurants, supermarket, bank, post office, internet cafe, chemist, health centre and filling station. Beach 5 miles.
