The self contained Cottage, once part of an old grain business, is located in the garden of a 17th Century Grade II listed private house in the peaceful attractive historic village of Nonington. Idyllic for walkers, hikers, cyclists or those who just want a few days away from it all, there is something for everyone. Just a short drive from the A2, with fast links to Canterbury, Dover, and London. Sandwich, Deal and the north Kent beaches are a short distance. Set in a wonderful tranquil rural location, the cottage is located within a beautiful old walled garden. With its sitting room and open plan kitchen with breakfast bar on the ground floor and its very large bedroom and shower room up the stairs on the first floor, with super kingsize bed, fabulous views over the surrounding countryside, Gardener's Cottage make a perfect escape to the country, be it for a lazy few days, or sightseeing and hiking. Cottage not suitable for children or pets. Please note the cottage is in the owners garden and there are family dogs on the property although not allowed into the cottage..

Garden Cottage
Very easy to rent, good instructions for getting there, very nice host. Lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful village, good central location to explore Kent.

Why they chose this property

Guests have full access to the whole cottage and to the patio area where they can have drinks and bbq, or their meals. There is a separate side entrance, with steps, from the front garden of the main house that leads down to the front door.

What makes this property unique

The owners have very friendly dogs.
No children, no pets and no smoking please.
Check in - between 17.00. and 20.00
Check out - before 10.00 a.m.
We ask guests to take note of these times as extra time is required for change over due to the current pandemic.
Parking is free with availability for one car. Guests park their cars at their own risk. We cannot be held responsible for guest's cars, or their contents. We cannot accommodate very large cars, minivans, trailers etc as there simply isn't room.
Guest's personal possession are their own responsibility at all times during their stay in the Cottage, we cannot take responsibility for any loss.
Please note that the nearest supermarket is in Sandwich a short drive away, or in Canterbury with selection of large supermarkets. The village does not have a shop any more, but it does have a pub within a short distance and a garage for petrol and other mechanics!
