Tear yourself away from the unrivalled coastal views to enter the property through the convenient glazed porch-way and into the first of four reception rooms. The east facing combined entrance hall and morning room provides a splendid spot for morning coffee. Opening up onto the wrap around deck and beach beyond.
Through to the main lounge, you’re welcomed by the roaring log burner in the statuesque fireplace. Pause and admire the sensational view from the second fully glazed bay window, again with French doors accessing the front deck. The three seater sofa in this room features as a fantastic sofa bed.
Original wooden flooring runs seamlessly through a pair of wide, fully glazed oak French doors, connecting the main lounge to the snug. When open, a continuous open plan room is created, flowing from the front to the rear of the house to form one large entertaining space. Closing the doors creates the cosy snug with four large chairs and a table, perfect for boardgames or a quieter space for family. Walking towards the rear we have a stylish and practical ground floor family bathroom and a good sized fifth bedroom beyond, with glazed French doors giving access to the expansive rear deck.
At the rear of the house, old seamlessly blends with new by incorporating the sleek modern kitchen with aga, opening to the spacious dining and living space. Plenty of room for all your guests at the large dining table and the final fourth reception space. Overlooking the Ley, this is the perfect place to open the bifold doors, watch the sunset and enjoy the peacefulness of the Ley and it’s nature.
If that’s not the best spot, venture out onto the sundeck. This West facing decking area, with ample outside furniture, only enhances the views from the dining area.
Upstairs, handsome cottage oak doors lead the way to the master bedroom, the Sea King. This has the luxury of a roll top free standing bath, shower and en-suite, king size oak bed and direct access to the fully glazed balcony running across the whole frontage of the property. Imagine sunrise from this space! All four of the generous double bedrooms, have full sized showers and en-suites. All decorated in clean off-white, Bedroom 2 and 3 overlook the wildlife rich Ley, whilst bedroom 4 enjoys the same fabulous views over the beach as the master.

This is a very nice house in a great location. It has all the amenities you will need. The view of the water is breathtaking. The house is located just a few steps from a good pub and breakfast/lunch spot. The nature trails are well worth the walk. Be sure to visit the Exercise Tiger memorials. The house is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay at Waterside.
This place is a perfect getaway! Located directly on the sea with panoramic views, it also has lots of outdoor space for bbqs and entertaining . The property is spacious with good size rooms and is well equipped with everything that we needed. If I had to make one tiny criticism it would be the late check -in which isn’t until 4pm, I feel like we had lost a lot of the day especially as we couldn’t gain access to the property until 5pm as it wasn’t ready. But otherwise I would highly recommend this place !
It is a great property in a great location. The general layout is good and in general the property and furniture is to a very good standard.
Even in the midst of Winter it is stunning.
The negatives are really about the cleanliness on arrival especially when hiring an expensive property and being charged for cleaning.
On arrival all of the linen from the previous guests was in a bedroom.
Christmas paper and dirty socks were under one bed.
The cutlery was dirty along with some crocks and there was some old mouldy loaves in the kitchen drawers.
The kitchen lacked cooking utensils (we had to buy a large pot, (sort of expected one to be there with an occupancy of 12 and a large Aga)
At the rental cost charged attention to detail is key ,however , it didn't detract from a great few days.

Hi Jeannette,
Im really glad you enjoyed your stay! Apologies ref the linen and bits I know our cleaner came round to pick them up later that day - she was mortified that she left them there!
Also thank you for the feedback regarding the kitchen, I will update this for our next guests, always good to get tips on where to improve! Hope to see you all again soon.
