The cottage was nicely furnished, well equipped and clean and the location perfect whether you wanted a few days rest, as we did, or fancied something a bit more energetic - it's a great centre for walking and cycling.

A great property in a great location.

A great property in a great location. What you see is what you get really, a clean, comfortable house which is very pleasant to spend a week's holiday in with 2 generously sized bedrooms.Parking wasn't an issue. 2 shops and a pub within 2 minutes walk, and the excellent Galloway Lodge for daytime meals and the best hot chocolate!
