This is the second time I’ve stayed in this flat.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this flat. I just love it: I will never get bored of the architectural details, or sitting on the sofa with a cuppa watching the clouds pass overhead through the skylight. The flat is beautifully furnished and equipped. It’s so cosy and an absolute haven. Genuinely my favourite place to stay. Also, as a woman on my own I felt perfectly safe and secure here. If I could give ten stars I would.

This is a beautiful apartment in a converted church, having all modern comforts but within the retained stone architecture of the former church. All the usual amenities are provided including free Wifi and also a full size freezer which is quite rare in holiday lets. The apartment is immaculate and very clean and comes with a designated parking space. The location is 5 minutes walk to the beach and Criccieth Castle and there are small shops, takeaways, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The main road through Criccieth gives direct driving routes towards the Llyn Peninsula and south towards Porthmadog, Harlech etc.

The apartment is in a good spot & a 2 minute walk to the beach & promenade.

The apartment is in a good spot & a 2 minute walk to the beach & promenade.Plenty of original features & everything 2 people could need for a self catering holiday. The directions were very good & made the property easy to find.We had a bit of confusion with the lock box as there were 2 with white spots on but it was straightforward once we worked it out.The main door to the building could be a little temperamental to unlock but perseverance won in the end.The apartment is cosy & welcoming, although the sofa was a little uncomfortable for us, as was the bed & pillows.Even though we stayed warm enough, a wider quilt on the bed would make more sense as it wasn't quite big enough to cover us both when laying on our side.We have a double bed at home but use a king-size quilt so we both stay covered.Despite the little niggles, we really enjoyed exploring Criccieth & other parts of beautiful North Wales & would still consider Arches if ever we were in the area again.
