Rose Cottage is a treasure of a single storey cottage with high pitched beamed ceiling. Once a Dairy farm the cottage is now within a a small holding setting with beautiful views and a collection of different animals. Terracotta floors and fitted kitchen with oak doors. Surrounded by a mix of farmland, woodland and nearby to the beautiful beaches and seaside towns. Inland we are lucky to have the beauty of the north Yorkshire moors to explore.
The space
Rose cottage has an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with a large dining table. In the master bedroom there is a king size bed, oak wardrobe, bedside cupboards with a large wardrobe and draws. In the second bedroom are two single beds with bedside tables, a set of draws and hanging space. All the rooms have exposed wooden beams and high ceilings to really feel the character of this converted barn building. We have our own eco-wood pellet boiler which provides under floor heating throughout the property.
Guest access
Guests have access to free parking throughout their stay. On the farm we have several Ryland sheep (which look like teddy bears), roaming chickens and currently two alpacas who may be in the surrounding fields off the main drive way.
Other things to note
Before arrival we will provide customers with a key code to our lock boxes. On here will be a fob to open the electric gate and the key is for the front door of the cottage. Guests have access to free parking throughout their stay. On the farm we have several Ryland sheep, a handful of Cameroon sheep and our own cross breed's which we have nicknames 'Rylaroonies', roaming chickens and currently two alpacas, who live in the fields surrounding the farm.
