A jewel from old Florence near the city center

If you love old things--antiques, cups with gilded rims, wooden beams, a garden with a pomegranate tree and a tabby cat--you will enjoy this unique stay. The hosts are warm and welcoming. The location is walking distance to the city center. Relax in the tranquil garden during breaks from sightseeing.

Shower problem

Owner could improve shower by installing a shower curtain. The shower was on the small side and was very difficult to use without getting water all over the floor. Also, exhaust fan was intermittent.Otherwise good.

Santo Spirito Escape

Romantic, large room with (excellent) coffee machine, tea, dining table, bathroom . . .and access to an outdoor courtyard and laundry! This is across the river from most of the bigger tourist attractions, more of a neighborhood, with markets and restaurants galore.
