In the center of Rehoboth Beach's wonderful downtown area is this very well-maintained townhome located at Scarborough Village Unit 305! Sitting just four blocks from the beach and steps from all that Rehoboth Avenue has to offer. This coastal retreat has a renovated kitchen and a spiral staircase that takes guests upstairs to the two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first floor of this comfortable and very clean home is where guests will enter from the parking area, which is directly underneath the unit, and has the primary living areas. Guests can enjoy everything Rehoboth Beach has to offer at this amazing location or stay close! Shops, restaurants, and playgrounds are just a short walk away, while the community also has a saltwater pool available for rental guests. To the rear of the property is a private patio with table, chairs and a grill. This home comes with two off-street parking spots (located under the unit by the front door), and the owner also provides one on-street parking permit. This permit can be used at any non-metered parking spot in the city of Rehoboth Beach. Please note that if you park at a metered parking spot, even with this on-street permit, you will be required to pay for parking. This unit is non-smoking. The owner will allow one dog with a $250 non-refundable pet fee. The dog must be a small dog not weighing over 25lbs.
NOTE: This property has a spiral staircase that leads to the 2nd floor bedrooms.
A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $162.50.

Perfect place to stay!

Place was as advertised and clean. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet in the off season (October) and we also appreciated the small grass area in the backyard to take our dog outside

Excellent location

Everything we wanted was close by. The condo was completely furnished with everything we needed. The Spurs staircase was a bit of a challenge but we adjusted easily.

The biggest issue we had was the mattress have NO support. We even opted to sleep on the couch cushions on the living room floor the last 3 days. Jis something to consider if you have back issues.

Going back in time

My in-laws owned this condo till 2013. We wanted to come back to remember the past. The condo has been updated. The double bathrooms upstairs are great. The pool sadly got rid of the umbrellas for the lounge chairs which means full sun for all. The kitchen needs a Keurig. The patio chairs need updated. They are falling apart and miss matched. The master bedroom needs an extra blanket. The back bedroom needs and extra fan. It was great to be back but the lesson learned is you cannot got back in time. The condo is a great place. Key drop off is a pain because Caldwell is on the opposite side of Route 1. Check out is too early if you need to have the key over to Route 1 by 10:00. 11:00 would be better.

Great property in convenient location

This is probably the 5th or 6th time staying at this property, and we continue to come back every year because my family loves it! It is in a quiet location, yet close enough to walk to everything. The home is attractive and well-maintained overall, and it is always stocked with everything we need in the kitchen as far as cooking utensils, plates, cups, etc. The owners have been very flexible in the past with check-in dates when we needed to change them, and up until this year, it has been very reasonably and competitively priced. Now that we have teenagers, I do wish that this property had another bedroom! But the pull out sofa has been working for now to provide additional room to spread out. The only other negatives for me, personally, would be the spiral staircase which I struggle with because of my clumsiness; some items in the home that are a bit worse for wear (i.e. chipped plates, uncomfortable pillows, etc); and the testy washing machine which only seems to want to work on one setting (though we are grateful for the washer and dryer as our extremely active kids tend to need wash to be done nearly daily). Overall, we would definitely stay here again because we love the location, and the kids feel like this is their "home away from home" because of how many years we've stayed here. I hope that the owners continue to make upgrades and maintain the property the way they have done so in the past!

Good location for fall weekend getaway to Rehoboth Beach

Condo has everything you need, somewhat miniaturized, it’s a a narrow unit. Spiral stairs took getting used to. Bed in master bedroom precipitated a near crisis - mushy and no support, no way we could sleep on it. But then we figured out that inside mattress cover there was a pillow top on top of the mattress. Remove it and voila! Perfectly good mattress. Owner should get rid of pillow top or put it In Closet for optional use. Very good location, nice neighborhood and easy access to Rehoboth Ave via opening in gate across parking lot, then 10-15 minutes to boardwalk. We did pay for linen package, waiting in bags outside door when we arrived.

Wonderful Location

There's a lot to like about this condo: the pleasant beach decor, 2.5 bathrooms, nice pool, outdoor patio, lovely grounds and 2 covered parking spaces. The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes (there's an easy cut-through to Rehoboth Avenue through the parking lot). And if you like to bike there is super easy access to great trails. We had a few maintenance issues that we reported when we checked out so hopefully they will be addressed for future stays.

The location is within walking distance of downtown, and it is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice pool. The condo itself is clean and the furnishings are nice. It is also helpful that there are 2.5 baths. My only major complaint about the place was a broken headboard which the property manager looked into as soon as we mentioned it. This place would also be very difficult for anyone with mobility issues or very small children as the spiral staircase was a bit treacherous even for those of us without mobility problems. But the place itself was fantastic, overall, for our family, and the property management made check-in and check-out extremely easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place

Clean, bright. Everything you need. Walkable to beach, restaurants. Pool is very nice. Parking for 2 cars in shade. Management very responsive. The spiral staircase requires caution. Had a couple scrapes from taking it too fast. Best suited for 4 maybe 5 people. We were six and it was a little tight at times.

The place was gorgeous, spacious, very clean, with absolutely everything you might need. The only thing we were surprised about not having were comforters; we purchased the linens package that included sheets, pilot cases and towels but there was no other bedding at the house. Location is great! Right on Ocean Ave thru a quick shortcut. Unit has two parking spots right by its front door. Pool is salt water, nicely kept area. Will definitely be renting it again!
