Spacious, one bedroom, pet friendly apartment with large terrace overlooking the town.

The apartment has been refitted to a high specification and offers guests spacious and comfortable accommodation for a break in Torquay. There is a generous sized living room with a bay window which gives panoramic views across the town and towards the harbour. There is a sofa and arm chair plus a dining table and chairs which can also double up as a work space. The apartment has a very well equipped and good sized kitchen with all the appliances you might need on a self catering break in Torquay. There is a bedroom with a super king size bed which can be split into a twin (on Request), plenty of storage and a lovely bathroom with over sized shower cubicle, basin and toilet.

Outside, the apartment has its own private sun trap terrace plus a much larger area of terrace shared with just one other apartment.

Well behaved pets are welcome in the property on request- charges do apply.

The apartment is accessed via a set of 28 steps down to the garden level. There is on road unrestricted free parking close by.

Great Property

The apartment was absolutely immaculate. Everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were very welcoming. The only thing I would mention is it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues as there are some steep stairs to get down to the property

Excellent stay

What a beautiful apartment, owners were very welcoming and helpful, had everything we needed from start to finish, would definitely recommend. But would not recommend to anyone with walking issues as there are a lot of steps to go down to get to apartment. But if your fit and healthy it is a fabulous place with a lovely outdoor area. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful apartment, ideal location

All we needed for our stay in Torquay. The apartment was very comfortable with all necessary appliances. Lovely views too from the outdoor space, perfect for eating outdoors (though beware the seagulls!). As however, there are a lot of steps to access the entrance to the apartment from the street level, it may not be ideal for those with limited mobility.

Nice apartment on the hill

We stayed in Linda and Dave's Ockendon House A apartment. This beautiful place on the hill, overlooking Torquay, had al it needed for a perfect vacation! Enough space for two, a very nice spacious terrace, a wonderful bed, large bathroom, we had nothing to wish for. Street parking was no problem and Dave helped to find a suitable spot upon arrival. And yes, the stairs (both to the apartment and to the city center) are sometimes a challenge, but we, both 60+, still managed to get to the top of the hill with manpower every day. We highly recommend this holiday home for a stay in Torquay!

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

A very comfortable stay in a great location. Limited street parking but this wasn't an issue as we were always able to find a space. The owners are very nice people who live upstairs and so are available to help with finding parking on arrival and to deal with any queries or issues which might arise. The terrace is a lovely place for some relaxing quiet time, while the harbour is a short walk away. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. There are steep steps down to the property which might be an issue for those with mobility issues but not a problem for most people and this was clear from the photos. A very enjoyable stay.
