Traditional white cottage in village of Crook, near Bowness. Sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom 1 dressing room. Wifi. One dog welcome under close control.
Amenities: Oil central heating with feature double sided woodburning stove. Double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Cottage courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 8 mins walk. Shop 2.5 miles. Note: Additional parking at the beginning of the lane on the right hand side. Children under the age of 7 are not accepted at this property.
Town: The pretty hamlet of Crook is situated in beautiful Lakeland countryside and offers excellent access to the heart of the Lake District National Park. There are two hotels/pubs in Crook itself and a wide variety of super walks on the surrounding fells. Less than six miles from Lake Windermere - England's longest lake - and a similar distance from all of the amenities of Kendal, Cumbria's historic market town.
