Very secluded but a stunning lodge.

Very secluded but a stunning lodge. Been perfect with a hot tub, nice local pub but for some reason doesn't open till 5pm even on weekends. If you want to chill out with your family then it's the perfect place, we would return

A beautiful lodge in equally beautiful surroundings.

A beautiful lodge in equally beautiful surroundings.Everything was spotlessly clean. We used this as a base for mountain biking, but would suit anyone. The hosts were very helpful and we had no issues at all.I would definitely stay here again.

The Oaks is a fabulous holiday lodge, it looks just like the photos, lovely spacious open plan livin

The Oaks is a fabulous holiday lodge, it looks just like the photos, lovely spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with 3 generous bedrooms. Everything was done to a high standard, bathrooms, appliances etc. the lodge as a whole was finished to a high spec, with all the essential kitchen living bits too. Outside space was generous and imagine beautiful to sit out in the summer, not in February though! Would return and recommend.

The accommodation is superb, very well maintained and cleaned.

The accommodation is superb, very well maintained and cleaned. The site is very quiet and managed well. You have to drive to all activities but most things are within 30 mins. We have had a lovely holiday and would recommend The Oaks. Our only issue was the plague of flies which descended on Great Strickland but we coped by opening the patio door but closing the curtains ! Should the owners be interested in making 2 small additions to their already beautiful property maybe some coat hooks in the hall and a drying rack for clothes.
