About this property
Special Offer-looking for a 2 night break? Bell Cottage, St Teath, sleeps 4+dogs
This charming 18th Century cottage is centrally located in the heart of St Teath Village & has recently been renovated to a high standard. A cosy little get away, which sleeps 4 people across two bedrooms, is a perfect idyllic retreat. Bell Cottage is one of the oldest properties in the village, set within the conservation area, with original beams and fireplace giving it lots of character. The owners have even been told, on good authority, that it was once the village bakery!
Once in the cottage you are greeted to a lounge with an open fireplace and comfy furniture to relax in. A well equipped kitchen, w.c. and a snug room are also on the lower level. The snug room is a great place if you wish for quiet time to completely unwind and gather your thoughts of the day.
Upstairs has two stylish bedrooms one with a double bed and a twin bedroom (housing two small double beds). The main bathroom is upstairs too.
Bell Cottage is listed as accommodating four people but it also has a sofa bed in the snug area too so can sleep 6.
The cottage also has an outside shower which is handy to wash wet suits if surfing has taken place or wellies for the hikers!

The cottage was just perfect and lived up to expectation; well situated for visiting all our favourite surfing beaches and restaurants, easy to find, beautifully and stylishly appointed, cosy, welcoming and warm, comfortable beds and a great shower! We have stayed in many cottages in the area and this one has by far been the best - a fantastic find! We hope to be back before too long … Sarah & family

This is a jewel. The most amazing cottage- beautifully decorated, modern yet traditional too. Honestly the best cottage we’ve ever stayed in. Local cafe so worth a visit… if you like reading lots of books for borrowing in the local post office, cafe or community hall. Don’t hesitate booking this beautiful place. About 9.30-10am every morning a little birdie lands in the handle of the back door and taps on the glass with its beak for bread… just beautiful!!
