A little paradise in the middle of nowhere

We enjoyed a very relaxing 2 weeks stay in the lovely place La Chintana. Allocated in the countryside with nice & perfectly equipped houses in an amazing garden with pool. If you want to enjoy very quite and relaxing holidays, then it is a perfect place. Lovely beaches are in the surrounding. Beautiful Sunset almost every day. Without a car you are lost. Nice restaurants are a bit far away ( ca. 20 -25 km ). For us it was no problem at all. We will come back for sure.

La Chintana was very secluded, with everything we needed for our stay

We stayed at La Chintana (C) for 12 days in Sept 2016, we found the property comfortable with all our basis needs, Pietro was really helpful, initially we following him from Palmadula to the property, then afterwards he was very helpful on a daily basis, we made ourselves understood even though we have very little italian language. Tom the ginger cat was also a regular visitor!. La Chintana is well positioned (although you can't really walk to a beach), several really secluded beaches are really close 10mins drive, we made the effort to explore all of these including some interesting driving down dirt tracks!. La Pelosa beach was very pretty, although we avoided it during the busy times. We spent a quite a bit of time at Algero which has a lovely historic walled town, Stintino which is really nice port with some nice restaurants. We also went on a few boat trips including, a yacht to Asinara, boat trip to the grotte di nettuno and a lovely yacht trip to see the sunset. All in all Sardinia is an amazing place, chilled out, great scenary, crystal clear water, great people. La Chintana was a really nice comfortable base to either spend your time at or to come back to after a day out.

Ruhe und Natur pur

Wer Ruhe in einer wunderschönen Umgebung sucht, ist bei Marco in La Chintana genau richtig! Ein sehr gepflegtes Grundstück mit einem Pool im Zentrum. Mit Liebe zum Detail ausgebaute, landestypische Unterkünfte. Dazu herzliche und liebenswürdige Gastgeber. Nur zu empfehlen!

Hidden gem!

We had a fantastic time at La Chintana! Marco and his parents went above and beyond during our stay to make sure everything was perfect and they were wonderful hosts. The property is very unique and secluded, a true little piece of heaven! The pool and the grounds are also great for kids. Gracie mille to the Leoni family! Es war sehr schön ruhig und genau das Richtige um auszuspannen. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und schön angelegt. Unser Appartement war sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung ist gut und ausreichend und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen:-)))

Merveilleux !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en couple avec notre bébé d’un an. Le lieu est fabuleux, très calme et reposant, la piscine est très agréable, les extérieurs magnifiques et l’appartement bien équipé, bref tout ce qu’il faut pour passer de très bonnes vacances.

Vraiment très satisfaits de cette location !

Des vacances super relaxantes. Les propriétaires sont charmants, un petit panier d'accueil très sympathique. A la moindre question, ou problème, on a une réponse de M. Leoni ou de son fils Marco. Les courses sont possibles à Palmadula, on y trouve de tout. La piscine a été très appréciée ! Septembre, quand on n'a lus d'enfant scolarisé, est le mois idéal. C'est une région qu'on ne connaissait pas encore de la Sardaigne, vraiment jolie. Merci encore, monsieur Leoni on a passé de très bonnes vacances. Una vacanza super rilassante. I proprietari sono affascinanti, un piccolo cestino molto amichevole. Alla minima domanda, o problema, abbiamo una risposta da Mr. Leoni o suo figlio Marco. Si puo comprare quasi di tutto a Palmadula. La piscina era molto popolare! Settembre, quando non abbiamo letto gli scolari, è il mese ideale. È una regione che non conoscevamo ancora in Sardegna, davvero carina. Raccomando l'agriturismo abbiamo mangiato molto bene, peccato che sia solo la sera, non abbiamo potuto finire il pranzo. Calme et reposant

Séjour très agréable à la chintana C’est un lieu calme et reposant avec des hôtes très accueillants. Aux alentours on peut trouver tout le nécessaire pour les petites courses et les plages sont assez sauvages et vraiment magnifiques!! Très bonnes vacances en famille

Unieke, aangename locatie in een rurale omgeving

Heel warm onthaal waarbij alle mogelijke inspanning werden gedaan om ons verblijf aangenaam te maken. Heel knusse woning met al het nodige comfort, heel netjes. De schitterende tuin, het zwembad en de omgeving zijn een heel grote meerwaarde voor rustzoekers. Prachtige wandelingen vanuit de locatie naar kleine verborgen baaitjes. Vrij afgelegen, dus een wagen is een must. Heel erg bedankt om ons een supervakantie bezorgd te hebben.

wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay in la Chintana! Marco is very nice and it was easy to reach him before and during our stay. The house was great; very spacious and clean. Very quiet away from all the noise, but with a car close to Alghero and the northern cost. We definitely recommend la Chintana and hope we will come back ourselves!

Beautifull house with swimming pool and garden

The house of Marco is really beautifull with a Nice swimmingpool, big garden and fully equipped kitchen. It is clean and Marco and his family are very warm hostes. We would definitly recommand this house.

Erholung garantiert!

Wir kommen wieder! La Chintana ist ein wunderschönes gepflegtes Anwesen, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und Natur. Erholung und vorallem Ruhe pur. Sowohl Marcos Vater als auch Marco haben jeden Tag nach dem Rechten gesehen und waren jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Ab und an wurden wir sogar mit frischem Gemüse aus dem Garten oder den Eiern der eigenen Hühner überrascht. Nicht zuletzt hat natürlich die Sonne unseren Urlaub in la Chintana perfekt gemacht. La location est très bien équipée.... très propre! Le site est magnifique, très calme et très bien entretenu! Beautiful place, warm welcome, ideally located!

We spent 5 days in La Chintana and this fantastic stay will remain in our memories! We felt warmly welcomed. A basket with local products upon arrival; some eggs or vegetables from the garden offered by the host; smiley family. The hosts take great care of La Chintana and of their guests. The domain is full of beautiful flowers and bushes. The accomodation is very comfortable and fresh which is appreciable when hot outside. La Chintana is ideally located to spend relaxing days by the swimming pool or to go on one-day excursions (Alghero, Stintino, Sassari, beach, walks). The village of Palmadula also has small grocery stores which is very handy. Thank you to the family Leoni! You will stay in our memories! Anne

Lovely tranquility, great hosts!

Beautiful setting in a rustic farmhouse with resident cat, fish and chickens. Marco and the Leoni family are lovely people and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The surroundings are well away from civilisation which means that the farmhouse is very tranquil and therefore relaxing for a de stress holiday. A car is definitely required and given the lack of surrounding amenities it would not be ideal for older children or teenagers. The pool was perfect for a cooling dip and nice sunsets can be seen from the outside eating area. The interior fittings and equipment were all rustic and well thought out. In summary we would 100% recommend Chintana for a get away from it all break.

La struttura deriva da vecchi cascinali completamente ristrutturati con tutti i servizi efficienti.Si arriva accompagnati dal gestore sig. Marco Leoni, che ti accompagna sul luogo dal paese di Palmadula Vicino ci sono agriturismo con cucina tipica sarda, il mare splendido e incontaminato. Il piccolo paradiso!

La Chintana… C'est un superbe endroit pour se retrouver en famille loin de l’agitation touristique ! C’est un petit havre de paix tout tranquille au milieu de la campagne sarde où il y fait bon vivre ! L’accueil des propriétaires fait sans nul doute un bon départ pour des vacances réussies et leur passage discret pour venir entretenir la propriété permet de connaître les bons plans restos, plages ou encore pêche ! Ils déposent parfois discrètement des légumes ou des fruits du jardin sur la table de la terrasse ! Au fur et à mesure, une belle entente se crée et on commence à se sentir comme à la maison… en famille ! Les enfants sont parfois même plus choyer que les parents ;-) C’est le cadre parfait pour plaire aux petits comme aux grands avec une piscine et la vue sur la mer ! La maison est propre et bien équipée, le jardin est magnifiquement bien entretenu! Un gros plus: pas besoin de draps de lit ni de draps de bain qui sont fournis sur place. C'est de la place gagnée dans nos valises! A la fin du séjour, j’ai demandé à Giovanna et Pietro ce que signifiait l’appellation « La Chintana » et ils m’ont répondu qu’il n’y en avait pas vraiment, que ça ne voulait rien dire particulièrement… mais moi je lui ai trouvé une signification…: Le petit coin de paradis :-) Encore un tout grand merci à la famille Leoni !

Perfect holiday home

For the second time we were in the 3-persons cottage. We really like the swimming pool, gardens, house and terraces. The whole property is very well maintained by the Leoni family. We immediately came in a relaxing mode by hanging around the swimming pool, playing board games, reading books, slow cooking. Also our daughter liked it a lot to play with the daughter of the Leoni family at the pool. We will certainly come back!! Thanks for a super holiday!! Zelalem, Linette and Guus

This is our second visit. We absolutely love it here as it is so tranquil, cosy and rustic. The property is very well maintained set in beautiful gardens. The Leoni family are a wonderful family who look after all your needs. A car is required as there are so many stunning places to see, especially secluded beaches. We will be returning hopefully with our grandchildren next time.

Bevlogen eigenaars

We hadden het geluk om 1,5 week helemaal alleen (met zijn 2tjes) op dit prachtige complex te zijn. Wat een rust, zo relaxed. Het zwembad, de tuin, de bbq, het uitzicht, fantastisch! Huisje was zeer netjes en schoon. Prachtig om de bevlogenheid en toewijding van de familie te beleven. Heel erg bedankt voor onze super relaxte vakantie.
