The space is funky, fun, artsy, and in a great location walking distance to many "must see" sights. We found many places to explore and fabulous restaurants within walking distance.Though the apartment was in the bottom "basement" that is just how it is situated from the street walk-in. Floor to ceiling windows provided natural light and great cross ventilation during the Summer months. I (60 yo) traveled with my grown son (age 25) and we each had our own space and sleeping area. My other son was studying in Madrid so he would visit and spent the night a few times on a very comfortable couch. We did have some issues with the Wifi. Being from the US, most of us have Apple devices that never "finished connecting" to the provided Wifi. We had to use our devices by the kitchen window with our data to get any connection due to the brick walls. The TV at the apartment was also not connecting to Wifi the first day, and once we reported this a maintenance crew was sent to the apartment to help. We got a working TV, but our phones and laptops still would not connect. The TV would occasionally freeze for hours. So I would say the Wifi is "spotty" and it would not be a great location for a guest that is on a "working vacation" or teaching remotely. For us, it was a minor inconvenience causing lulls in communication ....but we were on holiday!. Great water pressure, showers, amenities. Written instructions on how to use appliances in the kitchen would be helpful. Would absolutely return!
