Great weekend stay in Matlock.
Fabulous stylish property, set in an old Methodist chapel. Great location to explore the Matlock area. Some wonderful restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

This really is a nice place and the host is absolutely super
This really is a nice place and the host is absolutely super. It is quiet, clean with even things you would expect only in some hotel (coffee pods, teas, milk, and even spare toothbrush for instance). There is indeed no Kitchen, but with what you can find around, this is really not an issue. We really have had a good time and would recommend this place. Parking is a bit annoying, but over the weekend, it is free to park in the street, so was not an issue after all. +++

Fabulous stay in an impressive apartment!
The host was very friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Decorated to a very high standard with everything you could possibly want in a self catering accommodation. Spacious lounge area with plenty of seating, and a lovely dining area. Umbrellas and walking sticks are also provided, as well as lots of different maps and information on where to visit. Teas, coffees and toiletries were very well stocked.
The location of the apartment was at the top of the town on a very steep hill, which was ok for us, however I can imagine it would be quite difficult for some people. I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the booking, I may have missed it. Not many shops/restaurants towards the top end of Bank Road which meant we had to go back into the town late in the evening for milk (which wasn't provided) and back up the hill again. Maybe consider providing milk jiggers so it's readily available and if people prefer to buy their own milk then that's up to them.
