The View is a stunning waterfront property. The breathtaking sunrises over the sound of Sleat to the Scottish mainland can be experienced from every room. The dramatic floor to ceiling windows in the lounge invite the outside in. Even on the wildest of Scottish days you can sit aroud the fire and soak up the ever changing panoramic views. We regularly see dolphins, seals, otters and even the occasional white tailed sea eagle. There’s usually a pine martin that visits the garden at night too.

Waking up to the loch views every day was peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the birds and wildlife in the early morning and evening. Beds were comfortable, showers strong, and the kitchen is amazingly well equipped. We were happy with the location as we explored all over the isle, easily finding gas and delicious restaurants. Hiking trails throughout Skye were fun to discover from here.
Property is well appointed and has a lovely view. Kitchen well thought out and well equipped. Clean and well looked after. Overall very satisfied, and its nice just to sit in the room and look at the view. The moored boats change every day. It can be made eve better by providing an EV charging point and a place to keep bikes secure, although you can hang a cable out of the window for 3kW car charging and bikes can be left outside with a bike lock. Not suitable for pets or children due to cliff overhang.
Have just spent a wonderful weekend at The View. The owners named it aptly as the view from almost everywhere in the house was absolutely stunning!
The house itself is of a very high standard and beautifully furnished to suit the style. It was well equipped.
We all felt that we could have spent the entire time just relaxing and watching the ever changing weather and the goldfinches, chaffinches and rock doves at the bird feeder. I don’t think I’ve ever taken so many photos over such a short time!
I cannot recommend it highly enough. And I will definitely go back.
