Vecchia Volta New - One Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 2

A cozy apartment in a very central location, just a few steps from Florence’s Cathedral and the renowned Via Tornabuoni with its high-end fashion boutiques. Situated in a lively and dynamic neighborhood rich in services, restaurants, and traditional shops. Located on the third floor of a typical Florentine building without an elevator, the apartment features a bright and spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower.


Upon arrival, our guests will find a courtesy kit to meet their first needs (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.).
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone. 
Check-in is by appointment from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For arrivals after 8:00 PM, a supplement will be applied.

Service limitation:
Air conditioning in Italy is regulated by national laws that set a minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum of 22°C.
The temperature values ​​allowed in our apartment are 19°C (+ 2°C tolerance) up to a maximum of 21° C. Based on Decree no. 383 of 6/10/2022 of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, for the winter season, the period of switching on the systems for the Municipality of Florence is allowed from 8 November to 7 April, for a maximum of 11 hours per day.
Pay attention to your house keys. In case of loss or non-delivery of the keys, a cost of 50 Euros will be charged for replacing the lock for security reasons.
For urgent interventions caused by the guest outside office hours (from 10pm to 8am) a payment of EUR100 will be required. 

As per italian law n°214/2011 (art. 40.1) the italian police require us to report our guests' identification details. The info that guests are required to provide include a valid ID and resident address. . City Tax: € 6,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights

The Istay team is wonderful! Made me feel so welcome. Apartment is in a great area, quieter and right near the Arno. Walkable to EVERYTHING. 10/10 would stay again. They even put mobile AC units in the apartment to cope with the heatwave— so appreciated

Perfect location just off Santa Spiriti Plaza, at foot of the Ponte. The apt had comfy seating, roomy bedroom, decent bath. It is up 3 floors but that keeps it quiet from street noise. Could use a better mattress but other very much enjoyed our stay

Great and clean 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of Florence. Communication with the host was effortless and quick. The location is tucked away behind a few alleys, but it’s quick to get to/from the main streets. It’s in a neighborhood with many high-end designer stores as well as local cafes. The apartment itself was clean and well maintained, though it lacked a few supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. However, the host provided a bottle of water and Prosecco to welcome us. Another inconvenience is that the building has no elevator and it’s located on the third floor, but this is only an issue if carrying heavy luggage. Also worth noting that the staircase has no lighting, so a flashlight is needed at night. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and I would return.

The host was very communicative. The apartment was lovely with plenty of natural light with windows. Charming with plenty of space for 1 and would be great for 2 people. Nice area and I felt safe staying there by myself with deadbolts. My only minor complaints were that the air conditioning was on that the room was very cold. But that was a quick fix by turning the AC off. And the overhead fan in the bathroom was extremely loud if you accidentally turned it on with all the switches. After 2 minutes, it was off, though. Again, extremely minor complaints.
