Nestle in a very quiet hilltop only 17 min walk or 5 min drive out of Norwich City Centre. You will have the best of both worlds with peace away from main roads and close enough to have all the convinces of urban living such as near by, chip shops, corner shops and easy access to the city.
Saunders Rest serves as an excellent base to explore some of Norwich's most notable landmarks, all within a short distance:
Norwich Cathedral: A magnificent example of Romanesque architecture, this historic cathedral is approximately 1 mile away, about a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive.
Norwich Castle: This historic Norman castle, now a museum and art gallery, is approximately 1.2 miles away, about a 25-minute walk or a 6-minute drive.
Elm Hill: A charming, cobbled street lined with medieval buildings, boutiques, and cafes, located around 1 mile from the property, roughly a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive.

From Norwich Airport:
Start out heading south on Amsterdam Way. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A140 towards the city centre. Continue on the A140/Cromer Road, which will become Aylsham Road. Turn right onto the Inner Ring Road/A147. Follow the A147 until you reach Barrack Street, where you turn left. Continue onto King Street, and then turn right onto Carrow Road. Take a left onto Geoffrey Watling Way and then turn right onto Alan Road. Continue onto Bramble Avenue and then take a left onto Saunders Court.
From the A11:
Follow the A11 until you reach the Thickthorn Interchange. Here, use the left 2 lanes to merge onto A47 towards Great Yarmouth/Norwich. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A146/B1332. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right onto Martineau Ln/A147. Keep left to continue on Carrow Road. Turn right onto Geoffrey Watling Way and then turn right onto Alan Road. Continue onto Bramble Avenue and then take a left onto Saunders Court.
From Norwich Train Station:
Head southeast on Station Approach, and then continue onto Thorpe Road. Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left onto Riverside Road. Continue onto Prince of Wales Road. Keep left to stay on Prince of Wales Road, and then continue onto King Street. Turn right onto Carrow Road. Turn left onto Geoffrey Watling Way and then turn right onto Alan Road. Continue onto Bramble Avenue and then take a left onto Saunders Court.
Walking from Norwich city centre:
Start from the city centre and walk south onto St. Stephen’s Street. Continue onto Queens Road. Turn right onto King Street. Continue onto Carrow Road. Turn left onto Geoffrey Watling Way and then turn right onto Alan Road. Continue onto Bramble Avenue and then take a left onto Saunders Court.
The parking space is for a standard size vehicle and long wheel based vehicles will unfortunately not fit.
There are stairs in the property to the first floor.
We use a Ring door bell for security purposes on the outside front.
