It is also the place for anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the beautful English countryside. Hawkridge is within easy reach of Tarr Steps, The Chains - a wonderful place for the experienced walker, the Tarka Trail, the North Devon coastal path, Woody Bay and the Valley of the Rocks as well as Lynton and Lynmouth.
