About this property
Church Farm, Wilton, North York Moors
Church Farm is well-placed for families looking to explore the North York Moors and the East Coast. Tucked away in the quiet village of Wilton but never too far away from sought after towns and villages such as Thornton le Dale best known for the television series Bangers and Cash, Pickering where you can hop on the North York Moors Railway and of course Yorkshire's glorious coastline, home to the seaside towns Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. There is something for all ages whilst enjoying this wonderful old farmhouse comfortably sleeping up to six guests.
Offering a generous amount of space, whether it be in the well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with spacious dining area, relaxing around the cosy wood burner in the comfortable sitting room perfect for relaxing after a busy day, or spending the afternoon in the pretty garden with your family and friends, the ground floor is the perfect living area.
This 18th century stone-built farmhouse sleeps up to six guests in three delightful, larger than average bedrooms, all boasting king-size beds and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and each having access to the modern shower room.
Outside the front garden is laid to lawn with mature flower beds to be enjoyed, whilst also giving access to the side garden and patio area, seating six guests through the garden gate. Church View makes for a good base and is never too far from somewhere special to explore. We recommend a visit to Hutton le Hole, a chocolate box village home to the Ryedale folk museum, with great walks, pub grub and whilst you are there don't forget to take a paddle in the stream.
