Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please place all dirty towels inside the bathroom. Remove any dirty bedsheets and leave them on the floor next to the bed. If possible, please wash any king-size blankets in the morning. Thank you!
Please make sure to take out all your trash and place it in the garbage bins in the garage. Kindly ensure all trash is tightly bagged to prevent ants and odors in the garage area.
Return the keys to the lockbox. Place the Garage Opener back on top of the brown table. Move all furniture back to its original position.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please don't bring sand into the property, especially into shower stall or bathtub which will cause clogging issues for the next guest checking in.
Please leave shoes on shoe rack provided inside the garage! Please no food or eating upstairs in the bedrooms except for water to keep ants away!
No parties, no overnight guests without previous approval from host in writing. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 9 am. Strictly no smoking, fine is $1000!

Quiet neighborhood, and a very short walk to a very nice pool where we were nearly alone. The Condo had high standard and seemed very new.

We had a great stay in La Jolla! Townhome was beautiful and location was very centrally located for spending time in San Diego and La Jolla. Neighborhood was quiet, safe and very accessible to restaurants and shopping. Meiluen was a great host and very easy to work with. Very responsive did everything she could to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Townhouse was very modern and pool was just a quick 2 minute walk with a hot tub for relaxing as well. Would definitely consider staying here again or working with Meiluen in the future. The Smith's from Minnesota

Great location

Lovely place. Located very close to the highway which made it easy to get everywhere and rather quickly. Very well stocked with everything you need and very clean. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is that it has a very strong pet odor on the main floor. Would highly recommend if that's not an issue.

Thank you for your review about the great location of the property and the cleanliness as well as the fact that we try to supply as much amenities as possible for our guest stay. However, the comment about the pet odor is confusing because there was no pet at the property for at least one month before your arrival. It could be the smell of some deodorant spray that my housekeeping service uses to freshen the condo. There was definitely no pet or pet smell at the condo before the guest arrival.

Very clean place and very close to everything connected with UCSD & La Jolla, CA.

The Good stuff: - Owner very responsive.. No later than 10 to 15 minutes to respond to texts at normal hours. Voice connections easily responded to. - About 20 minutes ride from SD airport. Not too much of an issue (may depend on time of weekday though. We reached late night on a weekday). - A very clean place, absolutely spotless, clean paint etc. Clean vanities, towels, pillow and bed covers. - Everything as amenities in the kitchen (needed for cooking, non-perishable stuff), bathrooms and in bedrooms are there, and provided for, in abundance. 3 bedrooms with portable fans and big comfortable beds etc. Don't bring anything, except maybe your toothpaste/brush and personal items. - 2 full baths upstairs and 1/2 bath downstairs, convenient and clean. - The garage though looked narrow & small, could easily accommodate our Dodge Caravan minivan (seating 7). A bit longer vans like Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey may not fit. - A small enclosed back porche where you can sit out in the open. Privacy is there with a reasonably high fence. - Beach about 15 to 20 minutes drive. Things which could have been done better to handle the below small issue: - A bit hard to locate the house in the midst of a sea of houses/condos and abruptly ending tons of very narrow lanes in front of homes (if you make a mistake you can only back out of the narrow street to main street, no easy way to turn around and drive on those narrow streets). We came at 11pm in the night and spent almost an hour to locate the house: Google Maps doesn't do it. It points to main entrance on the mains treet. And there may be 500 houses in a maze of lanes to search and Google Maps is useless. Solution: Upload onto your cell, another free GPS App called "WAZE". It accurately points to the house to the door. I wish I was told this by Homeway or the owner before I traveled or that I got a map of the housing setup along with directions. The owner did tell me about Waze on my pointing this, and it worked great after that. Another thing if it matters to you: It is a little bit old house (as is everything in the neighborhood) but as I mentioned, it was kept spotless and clean paint etc. This was not an issue for us. Happy journeys!

Thank you for your visit! The whole condo has recently been remodeled from head to toe. A $100,000 cost. Even the flooring, windows, water heater and furnace are all brand new. Bathrooms and kitchen are all brand new too! All the funitures and bedding and linens are new too! The condo is set up only for the guest so there’s no personal items inside. The outside of the condo seems old but is well maintained. I don’t think the guest understood what value he got staying at my place for 6 people and also I have never had a complaint about finding the location. It is a very safe and quiet location because it’s tuck inside a corner which is much appreciated by most guest because they want to feel safe more than anything else in a vacation rental. All in all, you will not feel that you are inside an old and not well maintained place, on the contrary it’s so brand new that you will love it like!

Great location and very nice accomodations

We really enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. The townhome was in a great location and short distance to most tourist attractions. The newly remolded townhome is equipped with everything you could ever need. And Meiluen was an awesome host and was very helpful!
