Northwoods Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo in Vail

Northwood’s Condos are located in a private gated complex featuring ski-in/ski-out access to Vail mountain. These condos are just off the Riva Bahn express chairlift. The Gold Peak children’s ski school is just a short 2 minute walk away. Featuring an outdoor heated pool (seasonally), hot tub, steam room, sauna, and a gym on site. All condos have free WIFI; free garage parking for one vehicle.

This three bedroom, three bath suite features 1580 square feet of living space; one king bed; two twin beds; one twin trundle and one queen trundle beds; full kitchen; in unit washer and dryer. Ski all day and return to the condo and relive the EPIC day in Vail. This residence does not have air conditioning.

Property Manager will send a separate invoice for Room and Tax to be filled out and sent to them.

great location for ski school

We enjoyed our stay. The host was responsive to needs and promptly fixed issues. The condo was clean and close to slopes as well as walking distance to vail village. The indoor parking is a plus and bags easily unloaded via outdoor porch.

Yes, the host was welcoming. We enjoyed our stay. The location was easy walking distance to Golden Peak. The possibility of Ski in/Ski out was a selling point, but as we discovered, it depends on how much snow there is. Unfortunately, when we stayed there wasn't enough snow for us to take advantage of that (so a cheaper place that's relatively close may have been a better deal; of course, we didn't know how much snow there would NOT be when we made the reservation!) The outlets were poorly placed so it wasn't as convenient to charge electronics. Figuring out the light switches in the main area (kitchen, living room) took a minute, but it was nice that they were dimmable (some instructions could help here). Heated floors in one of the bathrooms was nice. Overall the unit was clean and spacious. Amenities were nice but not the most luxurious (given the price). It would have been nice to have a unit with a better view, but being on the 2nd floor it was hard to open the blinds without others being able to see inside.

Great Summer Stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Northwoods! The condo was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our group, including a toddler and an infant. The location was ideal, just a short and enjoyable 10-minute walk to Vail Village. When the kids were tired or the weather wasn't ideal, the bus stop right in front of the parking garage was a convenient alternative. The proximity to Ford Park and the trails was a big plus for us, and our whole family loved having access to the wonderful pool at Northwoods. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would certainly stay here again!

Northwoods Spruce 208

Location, location, location. Two minute walk to magic carpet and then ski down to lift. Go through the tunnel and ski all the way down to the pool and ski lockers, so easy. Hot tub and pool area on same floor and building. Plenty of rooms and space in the unit we rented in the Spruce building. Look no further this is the one!

Wonderful February Family Ski Week

Our family of six (including four tweens and teens) really enjoyed our week staying in this well-located unit. Check-in and check-out were easy and the Vail Realty team was very helpful and responsive. Ski-in/ski-out location worked very well, and super easy access (right down the hall) to the hot tub/sauna for after each ski day was wonderful! 10-15 minute walk into the village, plus easy bus service pickup/dropoff right out front. Note that the unit itself did not (as far as we could find at least) have much in the way of games, puzzles, etc. that live there, so just a heads-up to BYO on any such items you may want. We had a great week and would definitely come back!

Ski trip perfection

Would definitely recommend this location if you are wanting an easy place to stay in vail! The ski in/out was very convenient but took some time to find the tunnel back (it was our first time to Vail). Lee was super communicative leading up to the trip and easy to get in touch with during our stay. The condo was a great space for a family vacation with plenty of personal and community space. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for cooking. Thanks for a great first trip to vail! We will be back!

Close to everything

The master bathroom had mildew growing in the shower. The floor mat in the kitchen was dirty. I washed it. Overall, the place was perfect for our trip. Great proximity to Golden Peak. Nice size rooms with good layout. Close to INTOWN bus pickup. The fireplace was nice and easy to deal with.
