Things To Do
Obviously with London City Centre so close you will not be short of things to see and do but if you want to stay very local Battersea has a lot to offer. You can head to Battersea Park on a sunny day and enjoy a game of mini golf, tennis, or even row your way around the boating lake.
Take a 5 minute walk down to Battersea Square where you will find Gordon Ramsey's restaurant London House amongst a hive of bustling bars and cafes.
If you fancy heading out of London to see a bit more of the UK the popular seaside town of Brighton is only a 40min train journey away, or head further west and poke around the Jurassic Coast in the hope of finding a fossil.
Transport
Clapham Junction Station is the nearest station only 0.5 miles from the apartment and from where you can either head right into the City centre or out of London entirely and into the English countryside.
There are countless bus routes to take you right across the City that go from just round the corner. Check your routes and times at tfl.co.uk
Santander Bicycles can be found all over London and are £2 for 24hrs hire providing you return them to a Hub every 30 mins and wait 10 mins before taking it out again. This gives you a very good excuse to nip off and grab a beer at one of London's many many Pubs. https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/cycling/santander-cycles
London has gone contactless. This means you will need either an Oyster Card, Contactless Bank Card or even Apple Pay to pay for buses. You can either pick up an Oyster Card at the train station or get ready for your trip in advance and order one online at https://oyster.tfl.gov.uk/oyster/link/0005.do
