Dalton was welcoming and even carried our heaviest suitcase down the steep stairs. The location is excellent, the beds were comfortable and the bathtub was a welcome way to relax after long days on our feet. We were close to multiple tube stops and it was an easy walk to Kensington Gardens.
This place is PERFECT for your trip to London. Dalton was incredibly welcoming and helped us with our suitcases down some steep stairs. This flat is about a 3 minute walk to the nearest tube station and a 30 second walk to several bus stations including the Oxford tube. The rooms are spacious and having two bathrooms was very nice. If you’re looking for a convenient and quiet place with great value, this is the absolute perfect spot for you and your family.

Excellent location especially as a first time visitor. The host made arrangements to meet in person. Exceptional communication throughou. Well furnished and we appreciated the security light that came on as we entered in the evening. The coat rack was a nice feature as we were rained on often. 3 minutes to bus stop, 5 minutes to tube station. Numerous dining options that were outstanding. We would stay again.
Highly recommend this property. The apartment was very spacious, beautifully decorated and a great location. The host was great to work with and check in/check out was easy. Few minutes to walk to Hyde Park, pubs, restaurants and the underground. I would love to stay here again next time I come to London.

Other than the steps down to the flat which were a little concern (we’re seniors), the entire time was marvelous experience. The flat was clean and bright. Beds and pillows are super comfy. Location was great, the bus for tours and stops to see the sites was just steps around the corner. Close to pubs and restaurants. Really enjoyed our time.

The location is great, and the host is very responsive to any needs. It’s the first place I’ve been wherein someone greeted us in person when we arrived and even helped with our excessive luggage. Super thoughtful host!!There was an issue with the unit above us that caused us to have to leave at one poin (hence the 4 stars). The host was super responsive and worked to get the issue fixed as soon as possible. The space has everything one could need and, once again, the location is hard to beat.
This apartment was fairly clean however there was NOT a balcony as stated. It is a basement unit with steep, winding stairs where the trash from the units above is stored for the week. There are two bathrooms, but the second one is an offshoot from the main apartment. It felt like it was not attached. It has a large tub, but no shower curtain so is used for baths. The other bathroom had a definite urine smell as if water was recycled. Location was great. Bed was comfortable.

Very comfortable and roomy flat in a fantastic location. Perfect for 2 adults with teenaged son. We enjoyed easy access to everything we wanted to do, both in central London and more far afield. Helpful and accommodating hosts.
We had a lovely stay. Flat is very accurate to description, check in was seamless (and early which was a bonus). Lived in London for 20 years, this is a solid rental option. The stairs for entry are of note for anyone with accessibility difficulties. Loved it!
My son and I traveled to London for his 30th Birthday, and found this to be the perfect place to stay. The location is just down the street from the tube and was an easy place to get to anywhere in London. We arrived early and Dalton nicely met us for us to drop our luggage. We each had our own very comfortable bed and the kitchen, with coffee, and laundry, with detergent, made our stay comfortable. We felt like real Londoners with the location across from Kensington park. We'd love to stay here again!
Great location to explore London. This is a basement unit with a steep circular staircase. Although each bedroom has a window and a fan, the unit was stuffy. One of the reasons we booked the unit was the convenience of 2 baths, we found the bath with the tub challenging. The wand did not sit correctly to allow for a shower option.
The location of this flat was perfect for our family of four. Close to multiple tube stops and bus lines. A 2 min walk from Hyde Park. Lots of shops nearby. There is a skylight above the bed in one of the bedrooms. Since this a basement unit, it was abit annoying at times. bedroom
We have been very lucky to find this property after we had a cancellation. The apartment has all my family needed, clean, full of light and amenities in a super location. The host was very helpful and we loved our stay. Highly recommended!!!!!
We enjoyed our 9 days at the Notting Hill Flat, though we thought we were getting a flat opeing onto the street rather than a basement flat. The stairs going down were very steep and had to manuvered carefully. Otherwise, the flat was enjoyable, though not precisely arranged and outfitted as shown in the photos on the VRBO site. The shower in the back was very small but workable. We rated the flat good given the reasonable price we rented it for.

The condo is spacious for London standards. However it was very musty and no air flow. The in the second bedroom you will hear the tube all night. Nice spot but only one shower and it is tiny. No airconditioning and it was warm. Both dehumidifiers were full when we got there. Had to wait for person to show up to get in and he was late. Enough regular coffee for two cups. Also it should be noted that this is easily 30-45 min cab or tube ride away from most areas.?

This unit is located in a great area to be able to travel all over London as it is near Notting Hill Gate tube station. Good size for 4 adults. Someone mentioned the sound of the Tube, but none of us were bothered by it. It is down a flight of stairs but is still light and bright. We’re all seniors and we navigated the steps with care - and they became pretty easy during our one week stay. Dalton was great! He helped with all of our luggage both when we arrive and departed. Appliances worked well - stove is induction cooking which we love! Kitchen could use more - such as some mixing bowls and wine glasses (only 2 for 4 adults / really?). We did a great deal of cooking during our stay. Ice cube trays would be helpful. Shower curtain needed in second bathroom. Shelving in both bathrooms would be helpful as there is limited storage in both. We would certainly rent here again.
We stayed for 9 nights and were able to be checked in a little early which was appreciated. The unit is spacious and the location great. The tube is close by as well as good restaurants and grocery stores for easy convenience. We purposely booked this flat because of the ratings for cleanliness. Unfortunately, our experience was not 5 star. As other reviewers have shared, there is really only one shower that is useable and it is small. The exhaust fan does not work in this bathroom and it has resulted in black mold growing in the bathroom. We had one morning where the boiler lost pressure and we had no hot water. I sent a message to our contact asking for it to be fixed and for him to bring some cleaner for the mold and that the exhaust fan did not work. He was prompt in his message back saying he would come. When we returned to the unit the boiler was fixed but there was no cleaner and no acknowledgement of my request.We purchased our own cleaning supplies (specifically for mold) and I also let the owner know it was a problem. Again it was not acknowledged. This ensuite bathroom is located at the back of the flat and there is no real air flow so the mold was in the entire bathroom not just the shower. We cleaned the shower but were not prepared to do the rest. The other bathroom is spacious, clean and has a lovely tub just not suitable for showering.The carpets, sofas and kitchen chairs need a deep steam clean as they are badly stained.
