Double doors lead out onto a private shaded balcony with a coffee table and chairs. Here guests can relax and enjoy the view of the trees, to Mont Blanc beyond.
Back inside, the separate kitchenette is linked to the dining area by a large hatch, making serving a breeze. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and toaster.
Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe. Bedrooms 2 & 3: Both of these cosy bedrooms have bunk beds.
Bathroom The independent bathroom has a full bath with a shower attachment, basin and W.C.

Location The apartment is in the middle of South Chamonix, opposite the main bus station and just a 5-minute walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car station.
The nearby slopes are popular with skiers and snowboarders alike. In the warmer months, the peak of Aiguille du Midi, close to Mont Blanc, is a magnet for mountaineers, rock climbing and paragliding (with certain restrictions during the summer season). All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, including white water rafting, golf and horse riding.
Chamonix has all the amenities visitors need throughout the year, including many bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. Chamonix Sud has a weekly market every Tuesday morning. Here you can buy all the freshest ingredients directly from the producers, to try at home.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour 10 minute drive from the apartment. The Chamonix Aiguille du Midi railway station, for the Mont-Blanc-Express, is also 5 minutes’ walk away. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served, and availability is not guaranteed.

The photos make it look bigger than it is, but it is well designed with sleeping upstairs and living downstairs which works well. The bedrooms are small with limited storage but the beds are comfy.We prefer this location in Chamonix Sud as you're only a short walk from the town centre but it's a bit quieter at night. Also you're right next to the best bus stop as all the busses pass by here and you're the first on so the best chance of a seat!

The check in process included going to a separate building with a lockbox to pick up the key. The instructions provided were very clear but the problem was there was no convenient parking spot to pick up the key and/or unload our luggage so that was sort of frustrating and we had to trek our luggage on a long walk to find the lockbox then the building where we stayed.The apartment itself was clean and orderly but smaller than it looked from the pictures. There was a spiral staircase up to the bedrooms which was tricky to carry our big luggage up. The 2 rooms with bunkbeds were very creaky and not comfortable at all. There was no AC (I know this is common) but it was a very hot weekend during our stay and so we were quite uncomfortable without any fans to help with air flow. Providing small plug in fans would have significantly improved our sleeping experience.There was no wifi access which we felt especially annoyed by (our mistake for not noticing it wasnt included) but I have never stayed at a rental property that did not include wifi so this felt very cheap on their part, especially considering the price per night we paid.The biggest highlight though was the location. The property was very conveniently located walkable distance from the main downtown area and a short bus/car ride to the cable cars and hiking spots.Overall our stay was worth what we paid. It was really just ok, with more things that were unsatisfactory than satisfactory. I would not stay here again
