Excellent stay

Really lovely home in a great location only a short drive from the town center. Beautifully furnished rooms and beds were very comfortable. Excellent communication from the hosts and prompt replies to any questions we had. We had a party of 10 people staying so my only feedback would be that a couple of extra pans for cooking would be preferable for a group that size. I would definitely recommend to others.

Do not hire this house for Christmas celebration, kitchen utensils are almost non existent. Our Christmas dinner was ruined. This is a house fit for 6-7 adults not 10.

Sadly I don’t believe your review is factually correct, there are all the standard utensils you’d expect in a self catering stay and and the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, mixing bowls, oven pans and roasters, platters etc. A week before arrival we sent a list of everything there as we know how important cooking is to a Christmas guest and asked you if there was anything you needed. We look after many 5 bed self catering homes over Christmas and you’re the only guest with this feedback. During your stay, I was incredibly quick to respond to your concerns and offered to help and even reimburse you for anything extra you bought and we didn’t hear back from you. You’re still welcome to do that by the way.

Property surpasses expectations

We brought our children, their spouses and grandchildren with us on vacation. We had 5 adults and 4 children. The property was spacious, clean, well kept and brand new in appearance. There are 5 bedrooms allowing amble sleeping space and quiet time. The property has a large kitchen/dining room and a very large living room which allowed family activities. It also has a Jacuzzi and a nice size backyard which allowed us to relax while the children played. The neighborhood was safe and close to the bus stop, convince stores and a family pub. The host was kind, considerate and quickly responded to any questions or needs. We were impressed with the property and enjoyed our stay.
