Northleach is a hidden gem of the Cotswolds, situated 2 minutes walk to the centre where you will find a general store, bakers, butchers, chemist, pubs, restaurant, post office, cafe and Wine Bar etc. Fine dining at the Sherbourne Arms, Wheatsheaf, and Wine Bar.
Across the lane from the cottage is the children's play area with zip wire and tennis courts. Also perfect for walking and hiking. There is a bar at the end of the field run by volunteers with tables out side with Sky sports TV open at weekends.
Excellent location for exploring the Area. Village bus goes to Cheltenham, Burford, Bourton on the Water etc. Many pretty villages within easy reach.
Cottage has central heating and an open fire, logs available locally.
The Cotswolds Wildlife Park is about 20 minutes by car, a great day out for adults and children. Boating available on the Thames at Lechlade approx 25 minutes drive. The city of Bath is about 90 minutes drive away. Stratford on Avon approx, 1 hour. Oxford with park and ride bus 55 minutes away.
There are many guide book and leaflets on places of interest to visit at the cottage. We have a local friendly caretaker living close by to help with advise if needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the restaurants and shops, which made it so convenient while still feeling peaceful and cosy.The cottage itself was full of charm and character, with a lovely, traditional feel that made our stay really special. The hosts were also incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Thank you!

Quaint, family-friendly cottage in a great central location to access Oxford, Stratford & Burton without the steeper price and busy streets of a bigger town! Loved the quiet town, beautiful countryside walks. Everything we needed was just down the street in the town square. Not modern and if you’re tall, you’ll find it a bit cramped! But no one over 6ft in our household so worked well.

A very nice town depicting the Cotswold area perfectly. Well positioned for day trips to Stratford or Bath.

Rooms were very dirty - dust everywhere. No contact with the host except emails prior to stay. Showed Caretaker the evidence of dirt in the rooms. He advised that his wife used to do it and it was better but he would talk to the host about the poor cleaning. Advised cleaners would not listen to him. No good to us property already dirty. We specifically mentioned asthma sufferer in our party but ignored. Did not see information to say not suitable for disabled as stairs steep and windy. Bath lip very high too. Beds were comfortable and Northleach a good central position to explore the Cotswolds.. Had to ask the caretaker to come and open up locked cupboards for kitchen towels and sort the heating out as very cold. Overall very disappointed.

Not aware of disabled guest, only aware of dust allergy. Extra clean done prior to arrival. Guest booked and paid without checking suitability with us. House found in chaos after departure. Large items of furniture moved. All towels soaking wet and thrown in bath. A lot of extra work required by cleaning staff. Our first time ever since letting. We feel they booked the wrong cottage for their needs and should have checked its suitability. We visited soon after the guests left and found ashes in the open fire, strange for an asthma sufferer to use an open fire. We have never given a negative review, and feel it’s necessary in this case, but feel their review is unjust.

Fijn huis met verrassend veel ruimte. Warm en volledig ingericht. Badkamer met vloerbedekking misschien aanpassen naar tegels maar verder uitzonderlijk fijn huis.
