About this property
Romantic Cotswold Retreat with parking
The Hideaway is tucked away in a pretty, conservation village in the beautiful Vale of The White Horse. This romantic retreat offers a peaceful getaway for couples, perfect base for business trips, or a welcome place to relax for walkers & cyclists. On the outskirts of the Cotswolds, within easy reach of Oxford and plenty of walks on your doorstep, you will be spoilt for choice. After a day exploring, relax on the patio with a glass of wine, and watch the sun set, or curl up inside with a book.
The space
The Hideaway has been newly decorated and furnished to create a cosy, welcoming space.
Bright and airy, the living area includes a dining table, seating area and kitchen. The modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge (with a small freezer compartment), a combination microwave, hob, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, as well as all the essentials you need.
Nestled in a corner is a designated work space which is ideal for home working. The large, bright bedroom with countryside views across the Thames basin, has a super comfy double bed with crisp white bedding and plenty of wardrobe space. Next to the bedroom there is a spacious contemporary bathroom with walk in rain shower.
Guest access
The Hideaway is self contained with its own private entrance, patio and designated parking for one car.
Access is via steps to the first floor entrance, so the property is not suitable for small children and does not have disabled access.
We love to welcome guests on arrival. Keys will be provided by us.
Other things to note
For your safety we have security cameras on the outside of the property pointing down the drive and also covering the guest parking area. There is no gas at the property.
Our Welcome Pack offers ingredients for a light breakfast as well as the usual milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.
Please use the face cloths we provide for removing make-up, to ensure our towels stay white and stain free.
We can offer a pre-arranged pick up for those walking the Thames Path. Boot jack, scrubber and wellie rack are provided.
You are welcome to charge your EV but will need to supply your own adaptors and leads. Slow charge only. This is a charged for service. The EV power point is available for you to use at any time, (together with up to date charges) - but the power is monitored and charged for separately. Contact us for details and charges.
