The location was awesome! Loads of good restaurants and shopping within a very short walk. Only steps away from Victoria Street and a short walk to the Royal Mile. Street noise might become a problem during Fringe, as the space is right on the Grassmarket.

This is a one bedroom, with a pull out couch. Location is directly above Grassmarket, and as such is a bit loud in the evenings. I had to sleep with ear buds in. Otherwise, very central and easy access to all the spots we wanted to visit. Thank you!

Great location for restaurants, Fringe street performers and bus connections-not to mention so close to the Edinburgh Castle. Accommodations seemed newly updated but the were a couple of maintenance issues that Argyll Group addressed while we were there.The promised email 24 hours ahead was not sent. Therefore I had to contact the Argyll Group myself for the online check in procedures which was a little irritating and time consuming. Some posted instructions concerning hidden electrical switches, etc. would have been helpful and timely as, once again, all communication was through email and/or app though quickly addressed once the Argyll group was notified.

Great little apartment in an awesome location. Windows do let every tiny sound through, from the neighbours to passersby on the street and restaurants below

Sweet Spot in the Center of it All

I loved this place. Now, it is a bit noisy, but that doesn't bother me. I liked the big windows, the cleanliness, and the spaciousness. Having laundry was great too. I had problems checking in and getting the wifi password. The management group kept telling me they sent me emails -- never got the. So I had to call them quite a few times to figure out where the key was, and how to get on the wifi. That is my only critique, otherwise it was great!

Great stay in a wonderful city. Our only complaint was the street noise, but that’s what you get when you stay near the clubs. Bring earplugs if you like to get to sleep before 4 AM. Otherwise, it was perfectly serviceable flat in a great location. The bed was comfortable, it was clean. We mostly were just there for sleep and showers which we got. Nice view overlooking the grassmarket and a short walk to everything in the Old Town, including the castle and restaurants.
